Say "cheese", then rate this thread to express how photos taken with the HTC U12 Life come out. A higher rating indicates that photos offer rich color (without over-saturating), sharp detail (with all subjects in-focus), and appropriate exposure (with even lighting).

Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

The taken pictures have a realy bad quality. There is a delay during Shot and next Shot and all moving objekts in normal light conditions are blurry.
I had never seen such a so bad camera on a HTC Phone.

I don't think that the camera is so bad, it is middle-class standard, but I am really disappointed with the HTC camera application. It has no option to set white balance and the pictures taken during artificial lights are really bad. I recommend using another camera app. On the other hand I really like the depth effect (focusing) but it is necessary to use original HTC camera app for it.

I am guessing from the lack of interest in the posts for this phone that i should probably stay far away from this one lol.... Poor HTC.... They used to make such good phones...

Actually I just got mine and more than happy with it coming from HTC 10, specially for the price.
You get exactly what you pay for a mid ranger with awesome battery life. Camera isn't that good but isn't bad either.

I'm tired of spending big bucks for phones where 80% of the gimmicks I don't even use.

Do you mind me asking what country you use it in?

I'm in the US and was not sure about the bands if it would work well with AT&T. I am looking for something with GREAT battery life. My Galaxy S9 is sort of meh at best when it comes to battery life and I have it currently running at mid-range battery conservation mode. Limiting the processor, dimming the screen, having it set to 720p, etc. I do get a TON of work emails on it, as well as teams messages and keep bluetooth on typically for my smartwatch so some of it is probably self-inflicted.

Australia here. Not sure about the bands either however is working fantastic for me. So far the battery life is impressive, its quick and responsive but as aforementioned the camera is average but I think it has more to do with the software than anything.
I got the phone from Toby Deals for $255 AUD delivered which is a steal.
