Photo quality

I would like the cam to have a 6mp setting that binned 4 pixels into 1, like the other upper A series and the new A51.
Pixelbinning just doesn't seem to work very well from 2 to 1, and I doubt software can do much to improve this.
Has anyone compared A51's and A50's cameras already?

A70 too has 12MP in both rear and front cam but sensors are 32MP

Yes. The photo quality of the Samsung A50 sucks. and worse when we cannot install any camera like gcam. I managed to improve the photos a lot I leave some photos taken without flash indoors with NoiseReductiom night mode

I have to continue testing but I am playing with the exposure time and lens aperture as in googlecam

Don't forget It's only 12 megapixels despite of coming with 25MP sensor

I switched to S10E four months ago because the cam just makes better 12 mp pics without pixel binning.
I loved using the A50, but the cam was a disappointment coming from S8, and missed some pro settings.

The new one ui 2.0 update has completely ruined the camera. Especially the video quality even when set to the highest settings is utter $hit.. please help me guys how do I get the old camera quality back?

Pixel binning is **** that's all I compared A50 with Redmi K20 (48 binned) and J7 2016 (Real 13MP)
J7 2016 has more details sometimes

Click on More Option
Open Camera Settings
Open BSG MOD settings.
Input Model
Change -Interface Style – Pixel 2
Configurations- PIXEL2018 ZSLR HDR+
Go back – Enable Google Photos
Disable Zoom (Preferably)
Enable HDR+ Enhanced in Portrait Mode
Open Saturation
Highlight Saturation -1.8
Shadow Saturation – 2.4 (For REAR camera)
Restart the app again.

Stop spamming without testing yourself, none of these work.

Here are 2 pictures of moon i took with A50 stock camera and cheap $90 telescope (shot handheld), first one with 25mm. eyepiece and second one with 25mm. + Barlow lens.
