"Stop spreading irrelevant information" Why ? The title is Photo quality...I only commented on photo quality
"...nonsense to compare S3 with A50" I was not. I was only referring to other else's post's regarding IMX576 issues, please read again.
"bit better than Galaxy S8" Your eyes and my eyes are different, so is the judgement about that
"...Galaxy A50 has flagship imx 576 sensor" I didn't see any flagship results but you may see and judge different, it's subjective
"Don't post irrelevant information without testing or owning the device" I compared MY A50 with phones I mentioned above, "MY" means I owned a device for 4 weeks than sold it
"... just because you don't like the device" Again, thread is about photo quality otherwise device has superb battery life, superb one Ui, superb S.Amoled screen, superb stable software, superb modern look, superb, superb...etc, but it has mediocre fingerprint scanner and a bad camera. This is my opinion (your can be different) and if you don't like it than close the thread about "Photo quality" or ban anyone who posts negative comment about product you think is great to you. Btw I was and still am a Samsung fan but if something could be better or it's bad I'm not quiet. And this kind of user opinions are pushing manufacturers to push better products on the market.
First of all, your opinions doesn't make a difference to manufacturers .
Second, This not your youtube comment section to argue kid.
Third, imx 576 has no such issue, neither the photo quality is bad nor it is comparable to older devices like Galaxy S3.
Post proofs for your claims, else this place isn't for arguments.
》 Your post is considered invalid until you give some proofs.
Cheers!

First of all I'm over 45 so stop calling me a kid. Second I posted my experience nothing more not argue with anybody. And third my post is valid, you are not the judge nor the jury. If the rules will change to "users should not post any negative experience" than and only than my post will be invalid as you say.
If device is ok to you I'm happy for you, enjoy it and have a nice day.

Neither does yours. And your retarded behaviour makes you like a kid, seriously. I don´t have this phone, just read the thread to get some impressions about it as I was thinking about buying one. But I wont, as I´ve read lots of negative opinions about the camera quality, not just here but in other reviews also. So, after reading a lot and watching samples, I´m pretty sure that most likely -doesn´t matter whatever you say or think- this phone´s photo quality is at least mediocre if not poor. Kid.

First of all ....WHO ARE YOU ???????
Neither did i replied to your post, nor did i mentioned you !
Why are you replying on my comment ?
Second .....Why are u triggered lol ?
Third .... If you don't own the phone, don't have the knowledge about it, you're not a developer...what makes you think you're capable of giving reviews about it? And if you think that the photo quality is poor, why don't you attach proofs to your comment rather than bad mouthing kid.
Have some sort of decency, this ain't youtube kiddo.

Here are some sample photos I took before I sold the device, first and second one are comparison between A50 (25mp) and Lg V10 (16mp) from 2015, both cropped with slightest angle change, third to sixth are under the tree on a sunny day, last three pictures are for reference only to those claiming the A50 has better camera than S8. I own S8 also and the answer is 100% no, not even close. The 7th photo (landscape) is the best one I could achieve in ideal conditions but at zooming in details are not that great.

I agree 100% with DXOMARK Conclusion quote "Under the rigors of our rear-camera testing, however, the A50 can’t match the performance of some of the best mid-range devices and certainly not the image quality of the latest flagship offerings."

I suppose A50 owners like me should wait for custom ROMs to become available so camera2 api could be fully unlocked. I'm sure photo quality may be greatly improved on this device.
Maybe it's a matter of positioning of the device on the market that it's camera performance is not so good yet.

Camera performance is good now with the latest ASE2

Latest firmware (A505FNXXU1ASE3)
And do you have the bug of 16,5 megapixels in 3:4H ? I'm facing this lag
To verify that look if your pictures is in 5760×4312 (25 megapixels),If not you have the bug
I sold the device but from photos I keept there was no "lag" :) or "bug". All were in 5760×4312 (25mp) but the quality was terrible :( . Tnx anyway.

I dropped my S8 a couple of weeks ago and replaced it with an A50. Had some doubts about photo quality first, but I must say it's not much worse than my S8, which was one of the best 2017 camphones.
It lacks some options compared to S8, so it's a bit harder to get good results, but considering it's a midrange phone about half the price of an S8, I'm very impressed with its photo quality.

Depends on the price, I paid 230€ for a brand new one and I'm completely satisfied with it. 350€ isn't that great of a deal specially in the 2nd hand market.

Hello, I'm thinking on buying a A50. And I want to know your opinions about the camera. Now, I have a iPhone 6s and the feature that I used the most it's the live photos. I want to know how it called in android? And it's available for the A series? Thanks!! :)

Yes, I do recommend this phone, if you don't mind the plastic body, no IP68 certification, a little less speed than S8, and a main cam that's just a little worse than S8.
If it's all about the camera, I would go for S8+.
But to be honest, I consider this A50 an in between phone, with fine specs for a nice price. I think S9+ will be my next when it becomes more affordable, because a good camera is very important to me.
Oh yeah don't get A50 if you're going to be annoyed by a bad fingerprintscanner.

2 bad things about the A50 which are a major let down to other wise a decent spec & good looking phone

1- the very slow on screen fingerprint sensor which most of the time does not even work
2- the low quality camera

here is comparison pics i took with my A50 camera vs my old J5 2017 model camera

the awesome J5 shot:

the awful A50 shot:
