Here are some sample photos I took before I sold the device, first and second one are comparison between A50 (25mp) and Lg V10 (16mp) from 2015, both cropped with slightest angle change, third to sixth are under the tree on a sunny day, last three pictures are for reference only to those claiming the A50 has better camera than S8. I own S8 also and the answer is 100% no, not even close. The 7th photo (landscape) is the best one I could achieve in ideal conditions but at zooming in details are not that great.

I agree 100% with DXOMARK Conclusion quote "Under the rigors of our rear-camera testing, however, the A50 can’t match the performance of some of the best mid-range devices and certainly not the image quality of the latest flagship offerings."

Absolutely garbage comparision !
I've both Galaxy S8 and Galaxy A50 as my primary devices. S8 only seems to have a bit sharper images due to a better ISP. Everything else is better on A50.
S8 also has tedency to shoot very warm and unnatural images.
Stop giving opinions on a phone which you don't even own anymore.
Btw, Lg V10 is totally garbage when compared to Galaxy A50. Current flagships from LG don't even match up to mid tier camera's.
And your Comment on Galaxy S3 having better camera than A50 was a clear indication of your hatred towards A50.
Btw, A50 has dedicated night mode, wide angle lens, which isn't even present on S8.
I'll be posting a live video of my Galaxy S8 & Galaxy A50, unlike that of your fake claims.

That's under lowlight !
Wide angle lens images under good lighting are good enough. There isn't any device which has better wide angle lens than Galaxy A50 under the same budget, period.

2 bad things about the A50 which are a major let down to other wise a decent spec & good looking phone

1- the very slow on screen fingerprint sensor which most of the time does not even work
2- the low quality camera

While people are comparing Galaxy A50 with Rn7pro, S8, k20 etc. You come along and claim Galaxy J5 has better camera than Galaxy A50 is seriously pretty laughable at its best.

Forget about crappy J5.

Obviously A50 is much muchhh better with excellent dynamic range indeed !!

Calm down, no need to get triggered. I have many things to do, plus I'm certified by Google as an Android Developer while I've also posted my own working modded Gcam for galaxy A50 on the Camera2api thread. And It's true that I play with many devices son. Btw, you got so triggered, you forgot to check my comparision pictures. Go back & have a nice look. I too am in no mood to entertain ignorance & irrelevancy, kid.

i saw your OUTDOOR pics already which tbh i don't care much for as most of my pics taking INDOORS hence why my comparison shots where INDOORS,still the fact J5 murders the A50 when it comes to indoor performance. i love the A50 much more but it's indoor camera performance is a let down

The night image was taken using night mode from both the devices, while the day time picture was taken using hdr mode respectively.

If your A50's cam is really that bad, an update won't improve it a lot. Just get rid of it. Or maybe wipe the lens??

Your A50 has some techincal issues it seems. J5 (2017) is totally out of league in comparision to A50. As i said, it's foolish to compare them both. Also in my previous comparision images, A50 easily stomped J7 prime (2018), J5 (2017) infact is laughable at best in front of both of them.

Your J5 2017 shot seems to be taken with Flash
And you know nothing to say J5 2017 take better photos than A50
J5/J7 2016 and 2017 pictures have much saturation to be great
(I know what I say I've taken a lot of pics on my friend's J5 2017,on J5 2016 and I had J7 2016 before)

J5/J7 2016 and 2017 pictures have much saturation to be great

the J5 2017 shot i took is close up shot without flash.in fact i don't use flash unless i'm taking pics of people in dark places

also i'm not the only one who's saying the J5 2017 takes better pics than A50,plus there are lot's of people disappointed with the camera performance on the A50 compared to their other older phones on GSMARENA.COM
