According to some reviewers, quality on the Mi Note 10 and Mi 10 Pro regarding the main sensor are very similar. I'd argue the MiNote 10 is still a better buy than the Mi 10 (if you are a camera guy)
At times the main camera is great, but too often it crushes bright highlights and it watercolors foliage. The Pixel 3XL is much more consistent. This sensor is amazing coming from a pixel to this, the difference is amazing
Check the Gcam-thread perhaps.I installed mamy gcams, any of them can takie 27 mpix photo. Any good version to download?
Pitbull for Mi Note 10, search telegram "Mi note 10 Google camera". It can use all the cams, portrait mode works in every sensor, and generally IMO it is pretty good for every situation (day and night).I installed mamy gcams, any of them can takie 27 mpix photo. Any good version to download?
Really nice. I hope Mi Note gets a good update. Camera has a lot to improve.Hello guys, I create a picture comparison between the mi note 10, the huawei mate 20 pro and the pixel 3a.

Which smartphone shoot the best pictures?
For me I think the note 10 had very good details and it's very nice for landscape photography, but I don't like the close shot, because the depth of focus is to low. Zoom and macro is better as on the mate.
In overall I have to say that the pixel does the best job in focus and dynamic range but it had problems with noise.
Macro sensor is only 2 mega pixel this means no details, it is almost a useless sensor, anyway, you're using it too far away, even if it has autofocus with a so low resolution it is better to stay at the minumum of focus that is like 2 cm.I have Problems With macro Mode
Video is perfekt
Photos are horrible
What can i do
I have Screenshot s. But cant Post because of new member

For sure there is some kind of interpolation/software trick, even if it is really using the macro sensor as 2Mpx is comparable to 1080p res and 4k is like 8MpxTo far away? I have the Same Position in Video Mode
I dont understand this
Video Mode With macro Mode is in 4k Resolution ??
Or ist a different Cam in use??
For video, it works using its ultrawide camera. THis has autofocus, and can get really close. So no real use from macro camera, anyway, this was implemented for PR reasons. If you want real good macro shots, get a additional clip lens, I'm using cheap 5 dollar wide-macro lens, give's pretty amazing results (manual mode for focus, extra lightning from sides, checked 108mp tick in manual mode). For sure there is some kind of interpolation/software trick, even if it is really using the macro sensor as 2Mpx is comparable to 1080p res and 4k is like 8Mpx
I wish I saw your post before I bought the note 10! I've had it for 2 weeks now and I'm not so impressed...I received my Mi Note 10 and took a few shots. Overall, disappointing images, compared to my Pixel 3XL.
Main camera: The dynamic range of the main camera is not nearly as good as that on the Pixel. Even forcing HDR on the Mi Note 10 doesn't help much, as the Pixel shows more detail in both sun-lit and shadow areas. Strangely, given the higher resolution of the Mi Note, the definition of blades of grass in a landscape shot is noticeably better on the Pixel. Also, the colors are kind of "electric" on the Mi Note 10, not natural.
Portrait mode is poor in less than bright conditions.
In Wide mode, the dynamic range is also pretty poor.
Night city light shots from the Mi Note 10 are not as good as the Pixel, although in Night Shot mode the Mi Note 10 improves noticeably. But it still suffers from poor dynamic range.
The only shot where the Mi Note did better the Pixel was at 10x zoom. The Pixel 3 does it all with just one lens, and at its maximum 7x it had somewhat less detail than the Mi Note 10.
Sadly, the Mi Note feels like a second rate phone on the photography front. Funny enough, I don't have any issues with the rest of the phone. The fingerprint unlock is not fast, but I can live with it. I don't have touch issues on the edges. But the main reason I bought it was for the camera, which in my experience so far, is just not very good.
I am wondering what DXOMARK was testing and how they came up with their conclusions, which are so different than mine?
