Ok I have a post on my blog with lots of shots taken just after the recent snow storm. I also took my 4 dogs out for a walk, well they ran of course, and you can get to see how deep the snow is https://gavinsgadgets.com/2018/03/2...om-the-samsung-galaxy-s9-featuring-snow-dogs/

Here is one shot from the above post -

Snowmageddon on Dartmoor by Gavin Fabiani-Laymond, on Flickr

If you want to see the rest, have a look at my post. Any questions, let me know.
These shots are absolutely fantastic.

Def. a lot of snapseed HDR effect slapped on.
Snapseed. Shock horror. Not my cup of tea at all. No HDR effect or filter applied. Shot in auto or burst mode. Shot at 4:3. Cropped to 16:9.

The shots had a slight vignette applied to focus the eye line towards the action.

The S9+ was shooting with the HDR icon showing. The sun is pretty much straight ahead , slightly to the right, snow and motion.

The up close shot was using the telephoto lens only. The longer shot was using the main lens. Natural sunlight used no other lighting used in the stills20180401_152842.jpg20180401_151512.jpg

I mostly do toy photography, but I've been taking a lot of pictures of my dog as we take her out to play ball in the yard and this one is easily my favorite of the bunch.

And this would be my second favorite. I still feel like I am not getting the most out of the camera but I figure it's a learning process. Never really taken any photography classes so I literally do not know what I am doing, half the time.

Just one economy bulb 15W (equivalent to a 40-60w regular bulb) bulb above my desk. The other light is coming from the monitor with an YouTube video opened in full screen. The picture was made in auto mode, and has no additional editing. I mention that the picture was taken in the ultra wide mode 18.5:9 f/1.5 .

Taken on an S9 in my living room with no light on and no flash. Nearest lights are the led night lights in the kitchen. First 2 are pointing at the living room closet and entertainment center. 3rd is pointing towards the window and electric fireplace. There is a street light across the street. I have no idea why they uploaded sideways. I'm still not convinced the S9 takes better pictures, whether it be low light or whatever, than the V30. I still think the V30 does pictures better. I am by no means a decent photographer but in my opinion, the V30 just seems to take better pics.
