YOU have access/own a 3d printer?
Yes, soon i will print a 3d model.

Well the most obvious springs to mind: buy a sliding bluetooth keyboard case for either the S3 or the S4 and gut it for the slide and tilt mechanism. They range from $14 to about $23 on ebay.
I was thinking about this when i begin this project, but the problem is that the slide have to be almost width of the note 4. The sliding space of those keyboards is simply too small. I was also thinking of using the slide of another phone, but i found the same problem. So the only solution is to build the slide from scratch.

I saw one at a Best Buy. They're about a grand, but seems worth it.

But then couldn't you use the 3d printer to print the case where the mechanism lines up?

If i am going to print a case, it will be on a professional 3d printer from Stratasys. Those printers are about 30000 euro, and the quality of the printed object is far better than those hoby oriented printers from ebay or best buy.

The slide mechanism can be also 3d printed, but i doubt that the plastic is resistent enough to last for long. So the best option for the slide is metal.

Awesome mod, nice work there. Isn't it easier just to use USB 4-port switch and connect an external keyboard and mouse. The only reason that I'm saying this is because you can really get a neat wide keyboards and a regular mice, which also can be found in the regular computer stores.
Works like a charm for my Note 4 ;)

The point is to make it portable, though, and mimic as much as possible cell phones that came with physical keyboards built-in, like the Epic 4G or Relay 4G. Its easier to make a bluetooth case for it than build into the phone a physical keyboard, and thus, here we are.

I am going to use a 3d printer to print a really good one(if I can find some time), which is not going to be for sale (sorry), but you can build your own one.
Meanwhile you can check the NFC shortcut buttons, which brings back the old hardware buttons that allowed yiu to jump from one app to another (like the ones of nokia e90). link http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/accessories/nfc-shortcut-button-t3256502

If you have access to the 3D printer more than once, print a few more out! I'll even pre-pay you for one or two of them. Like yugoport, I have been looking for this kind of thing ever since I got a Samsung phone, and yours is by far the best version I've seen. Reminds me of my old HP 200LX palmtop.
