Banned from where? I'm talking about app to record the calls.
Not a single one application work for record the audio from the other people. Only your voice. It's not clean that?
The only solution that allows you to do that it's this method.

I`ve read all the messages here, I still not understand all the steps and I do not want to brick..

A while ago I had:
G950FXXS4DSC2_G950FOXM4DSBA_ROM

But right now I have:

G950FXXS5DSF1_G950FOXM5DSF1_ROM

In the zip file of the above I have:
AP_G950FXXS5DSF1_CL16019454_QB24073188_REV00_user_low_ship_meta_OS9.tar
BL_G950FXXS5DSF1_CL16019454_QB24073188_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
CP_G950FXXS5DSF1_CP12892158_CL16019454_QB24073188_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
CSC_OXM_G950FOXM5DSF1_CL16019454_QB24073188_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
HOME_CSC_OXM_G950FOXM5DSF1_CL16019454_QB24073188_REV00_user_low_ship.tar

I can not find anywhere combination files for this PDA/CSC.. Is there a chance that the combination files are in the zip that I`ve described? If not can I create these files?

Also for INS (India) I only found:

G950FXXS4CRLB_G950FOXM4CRL1_INS.zip
G950FXXU4CRL3_G950FOXM4CRL1_INS.zip

As I see it has U4, bootloader v4, Will I get in trouble (I`ve read that is important to have the same bootloader version)?


I do not understand from:

4 - Flash PIE rom with Odin:
N950FXXU5DSB2_N950FOXM5DSB2
(Any PIE rom will do except the carrier specific)

From what I understand "(Any PIE rom will do except the carrier specific)", I can install any ROM but not the INS that I need, is this correct? And after boot will get an OTA update with INS?

Isn't there someway to add in the missing .apk or file that removed with ABD on Android 9.0 without having to flash other roms/root?

NO!

You're on N950FXXS"7"DSH1 which has a bootloader ver. 7 which it won't allow (can not) to be downgraded to a lower versions.

The N950FXXU"5"DSB2 has a bootloader ver 5 so no go !

Did you read the first post and download the bootloader version 7 combination firmware that is link in first post?

Reread the first post and follow the directions for bootloader ver.7 and download the latest INS (India) firmware with bl ver 7.

Follow the guide again and substitute the bl ver 5 with bl ver 7 files.

Should be the same steps to follow you're just using the latest firmware with bootloader ver 7.

Actually my mom has call recording working on her Samsung A71. I know how she did it, but I don't understand why it works. She just migrated everything from her last phone (Huawei P20Lite), which she migrated from the phone before that (Galaxy S6 edge). The original install of most of her apps dates like 3 or 4 android versions back. I was trying to get call recording working but soon came to realize it won't work. So I told my mom and she just said: well you must be doing something wrong, mine is just working fine. So ofcourse I was like "mom, there's no bigger n00b than you, you must be mistaken". But, she wasn't. Somehow she migrated some permissions or something like that that enables her to record both sides. Still figuring out how that's possible though. If any dev here knows what might be going on I'd appreciate an explanation lol

I have an issue with the first point as I can't flash the correct AP....

I have a N950FXXSDDTJ1 and I can't seem to flash the correct combination AP. At each time it just fails.
I tried with N950FXXU5ARI1 , N950FXXU7ASG1, N950FXXU9ATB1 and N9500ZCU3ARE1

is it possible on my samsung a50??

I have a US model samsung a50 I managed to unlock my phone from carrier xfinity so that I can use any sim in the world . After few days I noticed my call recorder app is not working so I downloaded a bunch of call recording apps from playstore , none of them worked (all apps creates silent audio file ) .

Model: SM-A505U
OS: android 10
actually I was unable to find my CSC but as per reference on this forum I'm assuming it is OYN

please help me I really need call record .....

none of them are the correct file.
you and I and probably others need the latest combo file
