My device is bacon. I'm liking this launcher much more than the modded launcher. You have done great work. My problem is after my nightly update I lose your launcher. I then have to reinstall it from your zips. Im on lineage pie without root on a bacon device. Is there something I need to do to not have to reinstall every day.

Flash your rom again. That should overwrite everything.

You need to flash it after every ROM flash again. Not that much work, uh?
Otherwise you have to create a survive script in init process. There are tutorials. Search for it. But I would flash it after updates again and that's it.

The zip doesn't come with addon.d survival script so just reinstall them every time. Besides, the script in the installation zip will delete the config of the pixel laucher (the same as "clear storage"), so you need to reconfigure it again. If you don't want to reconfigure it again that you can modify the line in the script that delete the configuration folder from the /data/data folder.

@rambhanushali20 Can you explain what exactly the apks in /system/vendor/overlay do? Especially the P-Hotness.apk. I have installed according to the instructions and every apk in its supposed folder. But the "app actions" doesn't show up, any idea what may cause it?

Yes you have to flash after every rom update and Yes it contains both the recents and app slices
