Pie to Oreo to Pie

I'm thinking of trying Pie .... again. Perhaps I was too harsh when I flipped back after a few days.
I have a TWRP b.u. of OEM aOS 8, Oreo.
If I went to Pie and still didn't like, could I just do a factory reset from TWRP and re-flash the TWRP b.u. I have or is firmware written in such a way that there'd be more than that to accomplish?

I never tried that but I believe you would have to follow this downgrade guide for your phone to work properly again .

I will be doing the conversion again shortly ( pie>oreo) as the only reason I went to pie was for miracast , I finally got my laptop working for miracast , again ( windows updates broke it)) so back to oreo i go!!
