I have a nexus 6P and uninstalled everything and installed 3.5 and I get this issue where the app loads as 48.0dip, and it never works even after giving permission to storage and phone. It worked on 3.4 but not now.

Try removing any Pixel-based launcher from your system partition then install the module via Magisk Manager or TWRP.

v3.6 is out.

- Launcher backup/restore function added by @tohtorin!

Such an awesome feature since all layouts/widgets/icons can be restored to a different launcher in case you want to switch!
Like backup restore in recovery or what? Or is it added to all launchers?

I'll add it in the installer. :) It'll be optional since the colons in between the numbers becomes boxes in some ROMs.
Ya I'd like the don't everywhere really, full system font

Backup and restore via the Unity Installer. There will be options to backup the launcher layout/homescreen/icons and an option to restore it to any launcher of your choosing.

I'm confused . I thought if u flashed unity again it uninstalls... I just flashed the latest in report and nothing came up for restore or backup. So when exactly will it pop up. If I flashed the module overtop of itself to switch launchers?

Flash it again once it uninstalls. Lol.

Manually restore:

Copy file .launcher.db.backup from your sdcard to /data/data/com.google.android.apps.nexuslauncher/databases/launcher.db and kill (restart) your launcher (or boot).

Waiting for support from launcher devs to add that function into launcher.

Yes it uninstalls if flashed again. But if you flash newer version it starts backup / restore function.

I'll add support for backup before uninstall for next release.

    As a Mi A1 user, I was stuck with Stock Oreo 8.0.0 without Oreo custom ROMs when I first bought my device. Kernel sources weren't released at the time so I decided if I can cook up a Magisk module that can bring me the Pixel UI without the need to install that ROM. What I did is to search around the internet which lead me to downloading the Pixel 3 XL factory images and I have extracted the files mostly needed in the new Pixel 3 devices. I've decided to gather these files and compiled them all into a single Magisk Module. This module can be flashed with other devices on Nougat and above as well.

    FEATURES
    Code:
    * Different Pixel Launcher choices (Rootless Launcher, Lawnchair, Ruthless Launcher, Customized Pixel Launcher, stock Pixel Launcher)
    * Pixel Blue theme accent
    * Set Gboard theme to White BG with Pixel Blue accent
    * Adds Daydream VR support
    * Adds Digital Wellbeing in Settings app
    * Adds Gestures in Settings app (device dependent)
    * Adds Pixel alarms/media/ringtones/UI sounds
    * Adds Pixel Stand app
    * Enables Google Dialer's Call Screening (mileage may vary)
    * Enables Camera2 API support (find a working Modded Google Camera app [here](https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google*camera/))
    * Enables EIS support (device dependent)
    * Enables Google Live Earth + Live Data and Pixel exclusive wallpapers
    * Enables Night Light (device dependent)

    Not that my opinion matters ...

    And far be it from me to tell you how to do anything...

    But... Do like the windows mobile days... Release what works for you... Tell everyone to go spit(SUB: your favorite 4 letter word)

    This thread is an abortion of people who just don't effin read...
    Every answer anyone seeks is in the thread... You can't recover a bootloop... Don't mod your phone...

    There's a reason that disclaimer is at the top of every mod thread... At Your Own Risk means something... So does YMMV

    It can always work on every device but quentin2260's personal device as well... User Error is strong with this thread...
    I agree with this. I'll flesh out the mod for now and rework it from scratch then I'll add options within the installation for which mods to include to avoid issues with overlays. Once done, I'll bring back the module in the repo.

    Module updated to v3.0! Best release yet!
    - module now includes the latest versions of both launchers
    - uses Unity Installer functionality
    - allows users to choose which launcher they want to use via volume buttons

    I hope you guys would love the module now since you are given the chance to choose between Ruthless Launcher and paphonb's Modded Pixel 2 Launcher!
    Wipe cache/dalvik if you want to switch launchers.
    Flashing the zip a second time uninstalls the module.
