I just switched from "Pixel Experience" to Pixify, as it seems to be the new name of the mod, and using v3 I don't get the Pixel accent color.
On top of that, my screen is constantly waking up, with black screen and time displayed. I disabled the dt2w but still the same.
I'm using Mi A1 with September security patch.

Did someone encounter the same issue, with the screen always on ?

Google Pixel 5

ARCore won't work on my essential phone with android 9 October security patch.

Missing in pack android makeup for screenshot, I downloaded from apkmirror but force close all time to use.

All the rest seem to work well

I really tried everything I could think of. Tried Magisk 7.1, 7.2 and the trunk version (canary), but no matter what I do it is as if Pixlify is not installed at all. Also reinstalled Magisk multiple times as you told me using the Magisk uninstaller. Nothing on my phone changes, not even an new app is added. All other Magisk modules work fine, like the modded Youtube etc. As far as I can see there are no errors while installing Pixify and Magisk reports that it is installed. Also tried the latest Pix1lify, but no luck. I am using LineageOS 15.1

Noticing some odd behavior with the wallpapers. I had the various Pixel Live Wallpapers installed before I ever used this module in any of its incarnations and had no issue.

Before I updated to PIX3LIFY earlier this week, I noticed one of things it mentioned including was the Live earth and data wallpapers from the first Pixel. Not sure if there would be any conflict since I had them already, I uninstalled them before updating. After rebooting I checked the Live Wallpapers. There were none there so I went ahead and installed them again.

Here's where it gets weird. Using the Wallpapers app like normal, the 2016 and 2017 Pixel wallpapers appear in the Live Wallpapers section as they should. The 2018 wallpapers, however, are nowhere to be seen. That is, unless you go to Settings --> Display --> Wallpaper --> Live Wallpapers. Once there all all installed live wallpapers are visible. If I disable PIX3LIFY and restart, the 2018 wallpapers appear in the Wallpapers app like normal.

Anyway, it's not a huge bug but definitely very odd. I'm using an Essential Phone, BTW. Not seeing Digital Wellbeing or ARCore/AR Stickers.

got the above error while installing. . .

i installed pixify v2 but after uninstalling it by directly removing it from magisk i got bootloop. So i use flash_all_except data. Now when i install pixify v2 or pix3lify v1 i got the above error in magisk.

Mi A2 Oreo 8.1 October Security Patch

I'm getting stuck on the boot animation after uninstalling Pixify and then installing PIX3LIFY. I didn't know about the whole 'installing it again to properly uninstall it' part (since it wasn't on the Magisk module page).

Is there a way to cleanly uninstall this on TWRP?

For me, overlays version doesn't seem to install overlays : I don't have the Pixel blue accent.
Tried several times, and no overlay ?
I'm on Xiaomi A1 with October patch.
I didn't see any error during installation.

Installed the version with no overlays on my Mi A1 running AOSP Extended v6.0 Alpha (9.0). Opening Settings resulted in an instant crash/force close. Therefore, I am unable to use.

Great idea though, and I thank the OP for his hard work. I will try again with the next version bump.

As a Mi A1 user, I was stuck with Stock Oreo 8.0.0 without Oreo custom ROMs when I first bought my device. Kernel sources weren't released at the time so I decided if I can cook up a Magisk module that can bring me the Pixel UI without the need to install that ROM. What I did is to search around the internet which lead me to downloading the Pixel 3 XL factory images and I have extracted the files mostly needed in the new Pixel 3 devices. I've decided to gather these files and compiled them all into a single Magisk Module. This module can be flashed with other devices on Nougat and above as well.

    • To everyone using the mod and contributed information via this thread to make the mod better and to avoid issues. You guys rock! :fingers-crossed:

    1. Where are the launchers?
    - They're back since v1.8.1!

    ## Latest changelogs can now be found in github/Magisk repo via the readme file!
Not that my opinion matters ...

And far be it from me to tell you how to do anything...

But... Do like the windows mobile days... Release what works for you... Tell everyone to go spit(SUB: your favorite 4 letter word)

This thread is an abortion of people who just don't effin read...
Every answer anyone seeks is in the thread... You can't recover a bootloop... Don't mod your phone...

There's a reason that disclaimer is at the top of every mod thread... At Your Own Risk means something... So does YMMV

It can always work on every device but quentin2260's personal device as well... User Error is strong with this thread...
I agree with this. I'll flesh out the mod for now and rework it from scratch then I'll add options within the installation for which mods to include to avoid issues with overlays. Once done, I'll bring back the module in the repo.
Module updated to v3.0! Best release yet!
    - module now includes the latest versions of both launchers
    - uses Unity Installer functionality
    - allows users to choose which launcher they want to use via volume buttons

I hope you guys would love the module now since you are given the chance to choose between Ruthless Launcher and paphonb's Modded Pixel 2 Launcher!
Wipe cache/dalvik if you want to switch launchers.
Flashing the zip a second time uninstalls the module.
