I've made a mistake: I've tried to install this module at Redmi 4 X with MIUI 9.
I found issues after reboot and deleted this module in Magisk Manager.
Now my booting is stuck at Android-three dots logo.
I've tried to reflash system but it did not help.
I don't want to reflash /data because it contains a lot of stuff, and yes - I did not made a backup hoping this module is safe like everything in Magisk.

How to restore my system now?

Unistall module in recovery

Bad advice - as I already mentioned I've tried it with no success.
Looks like the author does not know how to remove the traces from his themes. Flashing SubstratumRescue_OMS.zip is not enough and one should flash SubstratumRescue_03262018-joeyhuab.zip (try to google for it). The last file is more complete and the key is to remove /data/system/theme.
After that I was able to boot my phone back (but it required a lot of time by the way).

It really looks like the module is not built properly as well as is not maintained any more. I do not recommend to install it.

Did you read post #2? Particularly point 2...

Edit: Ah... I just noted the discrepancy between the links to the rescue zip in the module readme and post #2... @joeyhuab, you might want to fix that.

Yeah, I've tried that but it didn't help also.

As I said: you should delete theme folder. That's the only solution.

Taking into account the module didn't give me anything, but lags and problems - it is quite a mess of uninstalling it!

Module wasn't required to be installed in the first place. Either try it and see if things are compatible or remove it and any other files related to it.

As I already posted: the issues appeared when I try to uninstall the module, because it leaves traces in /data those prevent the system from normal booting.

Yup. You need to flash the zip in post 2 to remove all files related.

    As a Mi A1 user, I was stuck with Stock Oreo 8.0.0 without Oreo custom ROMs when I first bought my device. Kernel sources weren't released at the time so I decided if I can cook up a Magisk module that can bring me the Pixel UI without the need to install that ROM. What I did is to search around the internet which lead me to downloading the Pixel 3 XL factory images and I have extracted the files mostly needed in the new Pixel 3 devices. I've decided to gather these files and compiled them all into a single Magisk Module. This module can be flashed with other devices on Nougat and above as well.

    FEATURES
    Code:
    * Different Pixel Launcher choices (Rootless Launcher, Lawnchair, Ruthless Launcher, Customized Pixel Launcher, stock Pixel Launcher)
    * Pixel Blue theme accent
    * Set Gboard theme to White BG with Pixel Blue accent
    * Adds Daydream VR support
    * Adds Digital Wellbeing in Settings app
    * Adds Gestures in Settings app (device dependent)
    * Adds Pixel alarms/media/ringtones/UI sounds
    * Adds Pixel Stand app
    * Enables Google Dialer's Call Screening (mileage may vary)
    * Enables Camera2 API support (find a working Modded Google Camera app [here](https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google*camera/))
    * Enables EIS support (device dependent)
    * Enables Google Live Earth + Live Data and Pixel exclusive wallpapers
    * Enables Night Light (device dependent)

    Not that my opinion matters ...

    And far be it from me to tell you how to do anything...

    But... Do like the windows mobile days... Release what works for you... Tell everyone to go spit(SUB: your favorite 4 letter word)

    This thread is an abortion of people who just don't effin read...
    Every answer anyone seeks is in the thread... You can't recover a bootloop... Don't mod your phone...

    There's a reason that disclaimer is at the top of every mod thread... At Your Own Risk means something... So does YMMV

    It can always work on every device but quentin2260's personal device as well... User Error is strong with this thread...
    I agree with this. I'll flesh out the mod for now and rework it from scratch then I'll add options within the installation for which mods to include to avoid issues with overlays. Once done, I'll bring back the module in the repo.
