I just got the Zagg Invisible Shield from the Google store. It's really nice so far. It doesn't have a halo effect, and that's really all I wanted out of a tempered glass protector. It is super expensive for what it is though.

The glass-m pixel 3 is rating poorly for the 3 xl but on the regular 3 it is working great for me. One tiny touch of halo but sides are great, and it feels better than my first tempered glass by a ton

Glass-m: GLASS-M Google Pixel 3 Tempered Glass Screen Protector, Ultra Clear, Scratch Resistant, Bubble Free, Anti-Fingerprint Screen Protector Film, 9H Hardness, Case Compatible Premium Protection Shield https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HRGGRW8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_knu2Bb4YJ498F

My original : AVIDET Google Pixel 3 Screen Protector,[Anti-Scratch][Bubble Free] 9H Hardness 0.3mm Ultra Slim Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel 3 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GSKNBFK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_cpu2BbF1T5VYK

I can still see myself getting a whitstone dome if I ever catch one on sale though. But the GLASS-M will definitely do for now.

Did you get the one with visionguard or without?

A few people mentioned the visionguard was giving a slight blue tint.

Just got the Caseology Tempered Glass, it is slightly too narrow to cover both sides of the display, probably between 1/16" to 1/32". Amazon isn't allowing product reviews for this at this time.

It did install fine, though the instructions don't say how to use the included blue/purple plastic guide. It does not cover the cameras or sensors on the top, but I don't see any halo or anything else. Fits well in my Ringke case (there is a 1/16" gap all around), and with the discount code at the time, it was less than $4 for two glass protectors.

I just installed this screen protector too. Are you getting any touch issues? The screen feels a less responsive to lite taps to me.

I've reviewed two different ones. The Caseology one is better, though not by too much. Both of them lift around the edges, but the Caseology one is quite a bit easier to install and I prefer the appearance of it. I don't know if there are perfect ones out yet.

Did you happen to notice if the screen protector is completely flat or if it has slight curviness at the edges to form to the Pixel 3s curved edges? I don't see how it's possible to not have a Halo effect if it doesn't follow the curve of the phone screen, unless it has really thick gel like adhesive or something.

For those following my reviews above, I have also reviewed the Spigen Thin Fit 360, which comes with a screen protector. The screen protector it comes with is a rectangle and, to me, looks better than the other options I've gone over. Still holding out for The Whitestone Dome.

I had a spare bottle of loca glue from my Pixel 2XL whitetone dome kit, so I tried to use the remaining bottle on a random screen protector. It didn't turn out bad. I got some lifting on the corners, but the sides flattened out. I just needed a little more loca glue, and I would've been able to hit the corners. This screen protector was pretty long though so, i'd need enough loca glue to cover the gap, and I was just a bit short.

It hit all the sides except the corners and the glue even went to the very top despite the cutouts on the screen protector. Really wish I just had a litttle more glue

The picture is pretty bad, but now that I looked at it again in person, the glue actually hit each corner; however, there was a cap along side the corners (not actually the corners) that the loca glue didn't get through. Overall, I'll use this solution until whitedome comes out their kits.

Oh well. Interesting experiment.

Finally won the OLED lottery and settled down with an acceptable display, so I was able to install the ESR TGSP that's been sitting there for weeks. It's not a full screen adhesive style as far as I know (did not want to touch it to double check but I'm pretty sure from the looks of it). No matrix dot so far but it'll develop in the future I'm sure, since I was somehow able to stand the dots for a year on Pixel 2 where they used to come and go from time to time.

To me, a complete protection of the whole front surface is more important than how the phone looks when the screen's off, and after a year of training, now I'm used to the look of brownish/lighter black contrast in the center anyway. For this reason, I only consider the protectors with black edges / full coverage. For cheapness, I refuse to pay for protectors that are $30 (or even $20) and above, so a compromise had to be made. Just hoping more capable companies and more competitions would lower the price of Whitestone's "innovation" :silly:

These flexible glass screen protectors have been a game changer for me.

http://www.protectionfilms24.com/ar...n-protector-clear-google-pixel-3-2733580.html

I prefer thin cases and traditional tempered glass is so thick that it sticks up beyond the lip of my case. These protect like glass, but flex just enough to not shatter on the first drop.

I am not affiliated with Brotect in any way. Just sharing my experience.
I'm considering giving this a try. Are you still satisfied. Do they offer good coverage of the visible part of the screen? Thanks!

Yes, I absolutely love it. Nothing else will work for the X Level thin case that I prefer. Traditional glass is too thick and sticks up past the lip of the case. Plus, this one actually extends to the top of the phone without such a large cutout.

See my post on the second page for pictures

Just installed Tethys TGSP on my wife's iPhone XR. It's edge to edge with full adhesive that attaches very well to the 2.5D screen without much effort. At $8 for a 3-pack with Amazon 1-day delivery, it further convinces me to not spend a ridiculous amount on Whitestone. I'm also sending an email to them to ask about their plans on making one for Pixel 3.

Too bad that Pixels are just too much of a niche market the manufacturers are not motivated enough to come up with an acceptable product.
