Hi everyone!
So my 18 month old Pixel 3 has developed the black screen problem... AGAIN! The first time was when the device was 3 months old. My service provider simply swapped out the phone. I'm assuming that this is a common problem with the Pixel 3 from all of the tips that I found to try to resolve the problem, (none of them worked), but not enough that Google will do an extended warranty for the problem. The phone still works, I can tap on the screen to answer phone calls, but that's about all I can do since I didn't use Google voice commands on my device.
I found a replacement screen for $50 USD, but I'm worried that it might be the "GPU" or whatever is the equivalent on my device.
Has anyone else had the black screen problem and fixed it by changing the screen?
Thanks!
zog
