pixel 5 edit build.prop with MagiskHide

Hello, I have read you can edit the build.prop file in Android 11 with Magiskhide but can you actually add a line of new text, all my efforts have failed so far and Im looking for some help.

1. Install BusyBox and "MagiskHide Props Config" Magisk module and reboot the phone
2. Install the below terminal or any of your choice https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm
3. Open the terminal and type props to open MagiskHide Props Config and select option 5 to add/edit custom props values

Thanks for the reply, So maybe that was my problem only trying it with the Magisk module without busybox? cause with just MagiskHide it did not work.

tried your suggestion using Termux but the changes don't seem to stick, any other suggestions?
