Man I hope it doesn't stop working. I'll be so upset lol.
Hehe, don't worry, I won't mention where I saw it and on which network, just found it odd it didn't work here :)
Google Support was useless:
"I completely understand your point here. However, we do not have an option to use 2esims on the same device. We really wish we had an option to help you with this."

I mean if it's a bug that let me access it, they could patch it in an upcoming update. Remember, to get it working, I had an eSIM and pSIM on, disabled the pSIM, tried to enable the second eSIM, it tried to reactivate my pSIM and then froze when I hit cancel to leave it off. When I went back in the menu after I swiped it away, I was then able to enable the second eSIM. It's very well possible this was a bug.

Understand but I don't really think the person I was talking to undertood exactly what I was asking about.
But anyway, maybe it was not supposed to work now but I believe it's feasible/doable (seeing you have it working on your side) and it will come soon.

I have a SafeLink pSIM that the phone thinks is TracFone since they're the same company. My pSIM is on AT&T though because I refuse to switch to Verizon for it.

The two eSIMs are US Mobile (labeled Verizon by the phone and uses their network) and Tello (T-Mobile network).

I can run any combo as long as it's only 2 active at a time. The phone prompts me which one to use for data and sets the other as the default for calls and texts. They're both active and I have done test calls to each from my Google Voice and both ring - switching which to use for a text is a simple matter of tapping this indicator and choosing.

2 e-sims will drain your battery like crazy, i deactivated my 2nd sim and used call forwarding because it literally cut my battery life in half.

Do you also have 2 esims working at the same time? Are you in the US or somewhere else?
I can't have 2 esims at the same time but I have the pain and 1 esim and I don't have any issues with battery life.

no one e-sim and 1 nano sim, and my battery life was terrible, i almost returned the phone. After i deactivated the e-sim and just kept the nano sim my battery life became really good.

Interesting but this looks like something with your signal to the 2nd carrier , I have 2 Sims and my battery life does really well.
i have the same carrier for both sims, so i don't think that should be the problem to be honest. and i could see that the connection for both was the same.

I've used 2 sims for years with OnePlus devices. Originally 2 physical sims on TMobile, 1 for work and 1 for personal. Swapped to 1 physical and 1 esim in my note 20, carried same setup to various phones all without negative battery impact. I'll be looking forward to dual esims as unless it's just coincidence, I get better service with the esim even though the same network.

Pixel 7 does not support dual eSIM anymore. It's been removed. Google tech support says it was never supported.
(Yes. I know it was working a month ago but here we are.)

I could have sworn I had a discussion with someone about this in this very thread but yes, I lost the ability as well. Unfortunately since I was using pSIM + eSIM for so long, I don't know how long it has been since it stopped working. I stopped messing with it since every time my pSIM got disabled, it disappeared from the phone.

I have the factory unlocked 7 Pro and I saw some people say that it doesn't but I just decided to try it. If you disable the pSIM, you can run two eSIMs at the same time. The first try it seemed confused and asked me if I wanted to enable my pSIM then the settings window froze when I hit cancel instead of yes. I swiped it away and tried again and I'm now running dual eSIM!

This is extremely useful for me because I had to convert my Tello pSIM to eSIM in order to fix my 5G (Tello provisioning issue, not a phone issue) but I don't want to always be using my physical SafeLink SIM.

I fall in love with this phone more every day.
OT - which app/mod for battery around camera?

Ahhh I missed that part. I didn't realize there were two eSIMs, thanks!
Yeah it's pretty cool. Like this pops up when I try to enable my pSIM.

Are there any apps available that will let you know which Carrier you are using?

I am assuming that if you were in an area with weak Verizon coverage, that your phone would utilize Tello and vice Versa.
Tello is set as the default for calls and texts, Verizon for data, and Tello is set to automatically use wifi calling over Verizon when the signal is weak.

This is awesome for me because I can park my Tello number that has 2FA for services that don't yet offer TOTP for $5 a month and then get whatever data SIM has the best deal as the other eSIM while having my SafeLink AT&T pSIM in the phone for an emergency backup. No worries about losing my phone number porting it all over the place.

Heck yeah! I just got my eSIM activated for Dual SIM as well. Unfortunately, it took 3 hours on the call with Verizon and multiple support tier escalations to get it done - not sure why it was so challenging for them.

In my case, both my physical SIM and the eSIM are on Verizon (but separate Verizon accounts - one I use for work and one for personal).
Yeah but you can do dual eSIM now and have your SIM slot free for something else too and switch between the second eSIM or pSIM is my point. It opens up a whole lot of flexibility that wasn't there previously.
