It sounds like you have the same problem I had earlier with the license app. Does this app has a function to hide itself? Because if it can hide it's icon it will hide itself from pixel mods. See the devs answer:

it hides from Pixel mods after First Launch of Main App, but If you hide it before it's Not showing up anymore

the app appears to be incompatible with this version of the pixel launcher on beta 4 redfin managed to launch the main activity using activity launcher and tried disabling apps which didn't work.

Hi guys, shortly I will release a new version fixing this and many other bugs I've found. Then I will focus on Android 12 support, it should take less than this. Thank you for your help and support!

EDIT: Released! Android 12 support is now one step away

Hi, the hide options is not showing in homescreen long press. I've got everything installed riru, riru lsposed, rebooted... ROM is pe+, Pixel Mods v1.0.3, Pixel Launcher v11.
Edit: After a while, the launcher crashed so I tap force stop and then the menu finally showed up. A missing step from your instructions I suppose? :)
Also, if it still doesn't show up, re-enable pixel mods from lsposed modules then force stop launcher

Hi guys, LSPosed 1.6.1 introduced a bug which prevent modules from loading correctly. If you have updated to this version you have to force stop the launcher to make this (and also other modules) working. You can see the issue on Github, should get fixed in the next version.

On a related note I have released beta support for Android 12 (in time for the official presentation!) so make sure to download the latest version to enjoy it!

Thank you for your work. Not being able to hide apps was one of the main reasons I didn’t use the stock launcher on my P4XL. I know A12 is not officially supported yet, but I just thought I’d mention a few bugs I noticed for reference later. Long pressing on home screen makes Pixel Launcher say “Error while adding the menu”, “There was an error while adding the Pixel Mods menu, click here to open the app.” Using the search function in the app drawer also makes all the hidden apps reappear, and opening the Pixel Mods app makes them disappear again. Thanks.

Thank you for your report, yeah the notification will be fixed in the next release.
It is normal that during the search hidden apps appear (not managed to find a way to fix this as of now), obviously after you close it apps should go away again, I will look into thank you

Thank you very much! The bar is a known issue, I'm trying to find a way to fix it
Are you on Android 12 right? Could you please tell me what do you mean with "icons don't always seem to be hidden"?

Pixel Mods is a new module that let you to finally tidy up your messy launcher with style! Long click on the home screen to access its main interface and you will be able to hide the apps you want to (3 apps can be hidden for free, then paying a small amount gives you access to everything).

It also has this functions:
- Enable debug flags in the launcher

All changes happens instantaneously, you won't even notice them!

You need to make a small in-app purchase to unlock all the functions.

FAQ:
  • Which Pixel Launcher versions are supported?
You can check in the changelog or directly by opening the main app interface. I won't post the list here because it would surely goes out of sync
  • What is Xposed, EdXposed and LSPosed? Which one should I use?
I strongly suggest to use LSPosed if you can. It is very well made and directly tested by me, if you have an old device you can use the original XPosed. EdXposed works too.
  • I beg you to accept my translation!
Sorry but I don't accept community translations anymore!
Available languages:
  • English
  • Italian
Screenshots:
You can find them on the store!

Known bugs:
  • Starting a search in some versions of the launcher brings up the app even if they are hidden. This happens because the search is managed by the Google app itself, I have yet to see if it is even humanly possible to prevent this.

Notes:
  • The app is also available on the old xposed repo and the new LSPosed one. You can find them there.
  • Rootless pixel launcher is NOT supported, and never will be.
  • I want this feature and also that one! Sure please tell me about it. Anyway I won't give you any ETAs nor I am sure that what you ask will even be possible. I'm already digging to find some way to support icon packs but don't know if I will be able to.
I come from China and I really like this procedure you did. You should also be aware that Google is banned in China, so I cannot pay for it through Google play. Is there any better payment method between us? thanks

Hello. I bought your app, it worked at first but suddenly after a few reboots, it doesn't work anymore. Tried to reoptimize the app and the launcher in LSPOSED app, same issue. Any fixes? I'm using EVO X ROM with stock pixel launcher.

Hi, I was wanting to hide more than 3 apps, and I understand that there is an in app purchase that needs to be completed, however, I do not know how to get that in app purchase screen to pop up. Is there any fix to this?

Long press on the home screen and press the "Hide Apps" button. You should see the in app purchase button in the form of a play store icon on the top right corner, next to the settings and info button. The app needs to be installed from Google Play Store for that.

Keep in mind though that you can't hide more than 4 apps since the last update. It's probably a bug which will be fixed soon, but I just wanted to give you a heads-up. The app worked totally fine on the version before so the purchase is worth it.

I can't see it. I got it from play store.

@pleasetouchmenot @monkeymechanic @DemonDestroyer0789 Hi everyone! New release published with fix included! Thank you all for your understanding!

Excellent, it works as intended; no flaws. Some features I would like to see: hide icon labels on the home screen -normally, labels are hidden only in the bottom row-. More grid options for the home screen. And folders to have a solid icon instead of a preview of the icons inside of them. Thanks man and keep up the good work (y)
Hi thank you for the support and the suggestions! Hide icon label seems a good idea and also an easy one I think I will add it shortly. For the other requests I need to dive deep in the code and this will take some time! I will keep you updated

You have indeed solved my problem - thank you very much!
