I have the Note7 and the 6P and the 6 still but I find a few compelling reasons (compelling to me) to stick with the Note7 for now. First, I have no qualms in using/charging the Note, my original one charged cool as a cucumber and so does the replacement. I love the size of the bezels on the Note so for me it does make a difference of how the phone looks since I look at the damn thing a thousand times a day. Same goes for the screen, it's as good as it gets right now in a smartphone. One thing that I have grown really accustomed to is Samsung Pay, I love it and use it everyday! I wish it was Google that bought that company a few years ago that allows you to use the phone at basically any credit card terminal. That functionality alone has made me reluctant to swap my SIM card into my 6P and drive it around once in a while. Battery wise for me has been more than acceptable to really good if I turn off the always on display (which I don't cause I have wireless charging at my desk and my phone can recharge while I type this). The software for me is not that good and there are lags that I do not experience in my N6. Nova Launcher, Google Dialer, N icon pack goes a long way to make me "feel" more like home. In my opinion, if the new Pixel XL looked more like a late 2016 phone and not an early 2015 phone, along with a few other nice to haves like waterproofing, forward facing speakers, etc. it would have gone a long way to justifying the cost of the phone. If the new software is "revolutionary" then the design should have mirrored it, no?
My two cents
