PixelExperience Android 8.1.0 review

Hi guys, so here is fast review of PixelExperience ROM from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-2/development/rom-pixel-experience-t3790553

- You get gapps allready integrated in rom
- Flashed magisk 16, works fine
- Aranovas google camera port included
- 50% faster HDR+ postprocessing
- Portrait mode works great on back and front camera
- EIS works well
- motion photo mostly doesn't work, sometimes after restart works for few photos, after it just doesn't save photos.
- slow motion works, but sometimes you need to enter photos app to view slow-mo video.
- 60fps video does record, but recorded video is faster than normal. Like it is on dobule speed.
- Rom i very fast
- Ram managment is great, almost no app reloading
- Battery, around 3h screen with 30% spent
- No themes support

Oh yea, manual camera from play store, gives manual controls and up to 10sec exposure.

Thanks for the review. Really good information. I called and used it for a little bit hand liked it a lot. However the deal-breaker for me was the lack of fast charging. Had to go back to and MIUipro for now

Fast charging is not a ROM related issue, it a kernel one. You can flash a custom kernel and your fast charge should work fine.
