If you know the URL where it used to be available, you might find it in the Internet Archive.I tried but I would have to use Python 3.8.15 which is no longer available.
I'll guess I'll see if I can borrow a newer pc.
Thanks

Forgive my ignorance, I downloaded this. But don't know how to improve this partition problem.
Hmm, why?[edit] v4.3.0.1 seems to have done a lovely job flashing it!(Took me awhile to figure out I had to update platform tools first, tho.)
User error? I didn't see the error message in the console for awhile. It had been awhile since I'd used the app--for some reason I remembered a warning like that visible up near the ADB portion of the window?Hmm, why?
PF checks for the platform tools version and warns / blocks you from using an older version.

I never saw that display. That's why it took me 5 or 6 minutes of head-scratching before I saw the tiny verbiage down in the console window. This was on a Mac. Did I find a bug?You get it when you start the application (which loads the Platform tools path) or when you change / update the platform tools path.

no because that image was taken on a Mac.I never saw that display. That's why it took me 5 or 6 minutes of head-scratching before I saw the tiny verbiage down in the console window. This was on a Mac. Did I find a bug?
V4.3.0.1no because that image was taken on a Mac.
What version of PF were you on?
Yes, that would be nice, thanksV4.3.0.1
Could I test it by...what... Moving the ADB folder, or...?
Yeah, probably my bad the first time. I'll bet I was in a hurry and just didn't pay that much attention to it. Here's what I saw just now.Yes, that would be nice, thanks
You can replace the contents of the folder with older files, or you can point to an older directory.
Either way you should get a warning.
if you replace the contents of the folder you need to start PF as it would not know that you changed files.
Thanks for the confirmation.Yeah, probably my bad the first time. I'll bet I was in a hurry and just didn't pay that much attention to it. Here's what I saw just now.
It's a wonderful feature--especially because it's not something I'd likely remember to do if I was flashing manually! Thanks for the confirmation.
If you choose yes, it will allow you, and not block you. (you're on your own)
If you choose no (which you should) then it will lock the devices and scan option until you set it to a path that is the >= version set in PF.
I just have to be clear about how PF determines the latest version.
This is hard-coded in the app, and on every release of PF I check the latest version number published by google and set the value in PF.
Unfortunately I cannot easily (with low overhead) dynamically check version in the program (hence why it is hard-coded), because the link is only available after you accept the agreement.
Hi, does it support Pixel 7 & 7 Pro now? bcoz Pixel 7 & 7 Pro are using initial_boot.img for rooting
Yes sure,Hi, does it support Pixel 7 & 7 Pro now? bcoz Pixel 7 & 7 Pro are using initial_boot.img for rooting
1) No, this too will help you root.Sorry if I missed something in the description.
But 1) do I have to root the phone before? 2) will I lose banking applications?
Tnx!
That's not how you do it, don't just get the adb and fastboot files, unpack the Android Platform Tools 33.0.3 (not 34.0.1) and when you point PF where it is, point where adb and fastboot are , the other files in there are not decoration, they need to be there.I create a new folder into the Platform tools and I put only the adb and the fast boot .
Since that is the first time and I'm already rooted from January without updating till now I will use for 1st time this tool . Do i have to care for something else ?
When you unzip the Android Platform ToolsI follow your instructions but no way to work .please see the support
ERROR: The selected path \\Ds\ds\Downloads\platform-tools_r33.0.3-windows does not have adb and or fastboot
If you follow the number sequence in basic usage, that is the main usage, everything else is additional features / tools.yes, and on github too. Wasn't sure if the table in the middle will apply just the boot or the whole image and found the "Flash Boot" button or root process undescribed. Also manual describes "Flash Pixel Phone" button as it flashing boot only in all the points, so i'm not sure if it does the OTA update.

PLEASE DO YOUR PART AND READ / SEARCH / RESEARCH BEFORE USING THIS PROGRAM
AND/OR ATTEMPTING ANY MODIFICATIONS ON YOUR DEVICE.
THIS PROGRAM ASSUMES THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW TO AND HAVE ALREADY UNLOCKED
YOUR BOOTLOADER, ALREADY ROOTED YOUR DEVICE, AND KNOW HOW TO USE ANDROID SDK
PLATFORM-TOOLS, ETC.
THIS TOOL IS SIMPLY MY QUICK WAY OF UPDATING THE FIRMWARE WHILE ROOTED WITH
MAGISK, WITHOUT LOSING DATA / REQUIRING A WIPE.
MODIFYING YOUR DEVICE COMES WITH INHERENT RISKS, AND IT'S NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY
IF YOU LOSE YOUR DATA OR BRICK YOUR DEVICE. THE TOOL I SHARE HAVE WORKED FOR ME,
BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU MAY NOT RUN INTO PROBLEMS. **BACKUP YOUR DATA.**

Here's a complete flow diagram of the patching process, hope it makes it clearer.Forgive me if I've asked this before....does ADB shell need root access in order for Pixel Flasher to patch the boot image via Magisk?
In other words, will the automatic patching work on unrooted devices?
Thanks for your consideration, appreciated.@badabing2003 , I really like your work, well done, I couldn't find a donation link, can you please provide me with that. Thanks and keep up the good work.
