Hey guys, as you all know the Nexus One was released today so I'm totally getting it!

I just have one question though.. I currently have the G1 with unlimited texts and web, on a family plan. When I get my Nexus One (for full price, unsubsidized) do I just switch my G1 Sim Card into my Nexus One and I will get my plan? (ie. my unlimited texts, 500 minutes, and unlimited web access)

Are you talking about the extended warranty/service plan you pay monthly for via T-Mobile? I talked to T-Mobile yesterday, and the rep (Kayla) had to ask internally if their insurance will cover the N1, and it doesn't. So I just canceled the insurance plan on both of the main phones and will continue without it.

Yea I was talking about the one provided from T-Mobile through that one insurance company. I used it for my G1 and it was 6$ monthly. But now I'm hearing that doesn't work with the N1. So I'd have to cancel that. But where can I get insurance for my N1?

T-Mobile doesn't warrant the phone, so you should probably stop paying the insurance. Google warrants the phone for 1 year. Don't forget, it's voided by rooting.

Alright, so I just call them up and ask to cancel the insurance? Oh nice. I'll probably only have the phone for one year.. that's how long I had my G1 for and look what came out just one year after :p
