Hey there,

yesterday evening I was playing the new valentines version of Angry Birds Season.
Suddenly the app hung and I switched the display off and on to recover it.
Everything went white and I somehow managed to press the "reboot" button.
Now after a boot I was asked to enter my credentials for my google account + got a hell of FC´s.
OK, I think I somehow blew up the data.img, OK, i got that.

I have a 1 week old Titanium Backup and I tried a clean data.img and installed titanium backup from market and tried a batch restore but lots of apps failed to install.

I managed to open the corrupt data.img with ext2explore.exe and extracted nearly all files. But what now? How can I get my recovered stuff back into the data.img the easiest way?

Is there a more elegant way to get ALL my settings back so that I dont have to reconfigure all my settings?
Importing stuff into the data.img without linux maybe?

I appreciate any kind of help.
Thanks for reading

The short answer is 'no'. :(

When I used to use a data.img, I used to back it up daily just in case this sort of problem happened.

Hey,

can you still go back to the state when the trouble started (when the force closes appeared first) or did you already change too much?

I had the issue of force closes after installing and playing angry birds seasons too, and I found a simple way to fix it.

What I did:
open terminal emulator
type "su" and hit enter
type "fix_permissions" and hit enter

That did it for me...
