Perfect. As a former wedding photographer who decided to change hobbies, I sold ALL of my professional gear to buy a motorcycle lol. Now, with such powerful tools on a smartphone, I should be able to take semi-pro looking pics especially at night (where ALL phones up until recently virtually sucked balls).

I can't wait to get this phone tomorrow.

If you want a phone based off its camera only, Nokia Lumia 920 lol besides that phone, the G4's camera is supposed to be best on the market.

I had the Nokia 1020 on AT&T and it is hands down the best camera on a smartphone. But after having it for 2 months I returned it because I couldn't stand Windows Phone. The G4 is the closest to the 1020 that I've ever seen. The manual shutter and iso settings let me get pretty close to the 1020. That phone camera is still better though because of the 41MP and the ability to crop in majorly and still have an amazing photo. I'm not only picking a phone for the camera. It's the sum of the parts. Windows on the 1020 was a major breaking point. The total sum of the parts of the G4 make it better than the S6, in my opinion, not just the camera

The photo you took, is that on same moment at the first photo in the first post about the stars?

We're the two photos showing stars taken with some kind of support at slow shutter speed, or hand held?

Signature edited to appease the OCD's

Cameras phones on android would be galaxy k zoom which costs a third of of the price of the panasonic lumix cm-1 with its 1 inch sensor. The cm1 did not sell in many countries though and is quite pricey. An RX100 is a fraction of the cost.

i've had the k zoom for nearly a year now and been pleased with it. Nothing beats optical zoom. And it has a xenon flash which is a rarity now a days.

The thing is when you zoom the aperture gets smaller so you need a higher ISO to compensate or you could use a longer shutter which goes up to 16s. with people shots it means higher ISO.

In good light which is where the zoom can be used its the best out there and its OIS beats any other on android. No raw or manual focus though.
