No problem, man. Its a little baffling why these devices are so heavily touted as Playstation Certified devices, yet I have no choice but to use logitech and/or Microsoft controllers to play Sony's games.

I have a PS3, so as soon as they are officially supported I will use the sony controller. But I can't understand why they wouldn't have this ironed out by now? Or allow us to root the device so we can do it ourselves?

Seriously I'd hate to have to buy a non-licensed product other than my SONY controller to play my Sony games on my Sony device. I'm going to wait for now and hope that Sony wises up and releases a patch so i can use my Sony accessories...

The first app you listed requires root which we're trying so hard to get but haven't yet; I'm sure once we're rooted this will work no problem. The second app says "Supported devices are: Zeemote JS1, MSI Chainpus BGP100, Phonejoy and iControlPad (iCP)." Doesn't mention the PS3 controlloer or the tablet s under devices...
Thanks though!

then you can not install applications that are not the android market or if you're going to settings and jamming the option to install without a certificate or something

Yes, I have tested with the latest firmware and connected 2 PS3 controller via bluetooth but you have to pair it with the OTG cable then you can disconnect it after that.

I have tested to install the FPSE Emulator on my Tablet, launch the FPSE with my PS3 controller connected via bluetooth then proceed to play the game by loading the Street Fighter ROM.

Of course, you will need to disable the on-screen controller layout then configure the hardware keys then you will be able to control using the Digital Pad and Analog joystick to play the game, it is fun playing the Street Fighter game on my Tablet with the PS3 wirelessly.

I've just got the OTA update and my cable is still shipping out, but from what I've heard to clear things up:

The DS3 can be used with the Tablet, but only after the 3.2.1 (Release 2) update is installed. After that, you need to have a USB OTG cable to connect the controller and pair it. After this, the Bluetooth works fine.

There is an app that allows you to pair without an OTG cable by using a PC, but this requires root, and is therefore currently unavailable for Tablet S users.

Third-party controllers are a bit of a hit-and-miss affair by account, but often seem to work with a bit of patience and effort.

correct. seriously, once you get the otg cable, hook up the ps3 controller and it will detect it and do all the work for you and then you can just unhook it and hit the ps button and it will pair with your tablet from now on!
