Hey guys, I'm wanting to put out another build but I'm having some issues understanding the differences between the models. Am I correct in understanding that the 6055K model is supposed to be Russian language? and if so, would somebody be nice enough to take some screenshots of the various screens so I know what the end result is supposed to look like? I have to narrow down what I removed that deals with languages so that I can re-add them. Once I'm able to get the 6055K stock rom again and narrow down the language files, I'll be able to bring them over to the 6055U ~CricketRom~ so that it will be more universal for the various models. So anyone with 6055K, 6055B, 6055Y, please let me know what language the phone should be and what country or territory your model was released in. Thanks much and it will get us all closer to having a more universal rom. That way I won't have to crank out and keep up with several different models.

Also, it would be great if I had 1 tester from each model. If anyone is interested in helping me out with this, send me a PM

You need to reinstall everything from scratch and start over. something is wrong with your TWRP. Boot into TWRP, hit the MOUNT tab, if DATA is unchecked and won't let you check, it's time to redo everything.

So how do I redo everything? Because data is a thing I actually can't mount in TWRP. Flash stock rom or what? Thanks for info so far.

Yes, get everything back to stock. Then flash TWRP 3.2.3.0 and you should be good. I'm not sure why people are having this issue. My fiances phone had this issue but mine didn't and her and I have the same model, using all the same files and all done the same way. A couple other people on the forums have had the same issue where others haven't. All I know for sure is that starting over from stock fixes any issues people are having related to TWRP errors. What model and what way do you flash stock on yours? For the 6055U I have to use Sugar QCT. No problem, I'm here to help. I'm working on setting up a build environment at the moment so I can dabble at making LineageOS 15.1 from scratch.

Exactly, system repair worked wonderfully - both TWRP 3.2.3.0 and a ROM are working perfectly. No errors.

That's great news, and an even easier fix than starting over. Thanks much for the info. I'll main page it and post the fix in the TWRP thread as well. That was error 7 you were getting right?

It was error 7 yes but also you cannot wipe anything because of that. Seems that repairing file system and wiping it is the easiest way to fix it before flashing anything.

I noticed today that when I make a call the dialer is not showing up after clicking the number. Don't know about taking a call. Anyone had that problem?

It was error 7 yes but also you cannot wipe anything because of that. Seems that repairing file system and wiping it is the easiest way to fix it before flashing anything.

**To get Google Dialer to pop up when you get a phone call, go into phone settings, Apps, hit the little circle gear on the top right and first give everything the correct permissions. Then go to where it says defaults and set phone as your default phone app. You can also set Waterfox as the default Browser app if you will be using it.

I'm going to be working 60 hours a week very soon and want languages out of the way so I can spend time with my baby girl when I have free time instead of working on android stuff. (Isn't "criticas", are somethings that didn't work for me) The kernel didn't work for me... I discovered while flashing... How CricketRom is an stock-tweaked version of the SO, I tried to flash it without the wipe of Data, and it Works!! But when I try to do a "clean flash" it goes to bootloop... But when I restore the TWRP
system and data backup (without boot), the Wifi and Bluetooth don't work... So I think that can be an uncompatibility between my kernel and yours... But I want to help to this device developing an tweaked kernel... But I don't know how... If someone wants to help me, I've got an Manjaro x64 on my "flagship" (no joke :laugh computer...

I'll be your tester. Please, send me a link, and in a bit of time, i'll review it....

There should be 0 incompatabilities. The first reason is that the Kernel in ~CricketRom~ is actually the Kernel from a 6055K and I along with others run it with no problems. The second reason is that even though the model numbers are different, the hardware is all the same. The only thing that differs is some of the software. I'm wondering exactly what you mean by bootloop? Is it rebooting over and over? I ask because after flashing ~CricketRom~, it is supposed to reboot once by itself and then it will take 10-15 minutes to fully boot.

I still have to upload the test version and i'll send you a link in PM as soon as I get that done. It's just a bone stock of my 6055U system added to the rest of ~CricketRom~. So you still will flash it in TWRP. I would like you to test and make sure that all the languages from the 6055K aren't already in the 6055U. I need your complete system dump, the easiest way to do that is to boot TWRP and make a backup of system. That will get you a full backup of that partition.

I'm starting the upload right now, so you will get that link at some point tonight, Central Time. I appreciate your time and help in making this a better, more universal rom.

@DUS2002, if you want to play around with a Kernel image, i suggest using Android Image Kitchen. It will extract and repack the Kernel for you and it's what I used to make my Kernel tweaks.

Beta1 to Beta6

I'm glad to hear it's being used, I was afraid I was the only one. I've been using Open Camera, I found it to be superior in all regards to the stock camera. Give Beta4 a shot, if you don't like the open camera, I'll upload a build just for you with the stock camera in it. I personally am sticking with open camera though. I've done alot and learned alot since beta1.

Hi, I'm sorry for replying until now (lol, I've been busy with University) I installed Beta 6 from Beta 1, I like it so far. The only thing I'd like is to be able to install stock camera (I have the apk, I got it with Link2sd and used to work on beta 1) I just don't like Open Camera. If you could make a zip with the stock camera (or any way to install stock camera) I'd be very happy.

Extract it and drop the extracted folder into system/app. While in system/app, you can also delete the OpenCamera folder and that will get rid of that. If this way doesn't work, let me know and I have 2 other ways I can think of to install this, one of which will surely work. Just make sure you do a reboot before trying to run it.

Since you guys have been so patient, I finally got around to making a flashable zip of the Stock Idol4 Camera. Just flash it in TWRP and you are good to go. I tested it several times and it's ready for the masses. Thanks for testing out the rom guys, much appreciated. Please do me a favor and let me know how it works for you guys.
