What is flashing system image unconditionally? I was stuck there when flashing rom for over two hours and that did not stop there.
which build you flashed
How to extract the system.new.dat?Where it?You probably trying to flash this on 920/5S-K-L device, you get stuck because our "# Partitions
BOARD_SYSTEMIMAGE_PARTITION_SIZE := 3879731200" is different, so you got stuck on flashing, there're 3 ways to be able to flash it:
1- Devs create a tree for 920/5S-K-L devices, then you will have full suport like 920/5F-I-T... (probably won't happen)
2- Build it yourself with BLOCK_BASED_OTA := false, then you will get the old flashing method.
3- (More convenient) Extract the system.new.dat (the problem is there) and create a flashable zip like Ressurrection Remix by Macs (This is the old method)

How hard is to search on Google? https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/extract-dat-marshmallow-lollipop-easily-t3334117
Here is the system.new.dat extractor. For the updater-script you should format /system, extract the system folder, set perms and link some files (see the first official S3 LOS builds or from S6 or RR updater-script).
Answer to that looks like a NO at the moment just have a look at the official website there's S5 & S7 but not the S6Hello. There was a post here about Galaxy S6 that said the phone will be officialy suported by lineage os. What happend?
On the link mentioned in the first postWhere are the change logs for these updates? Also for the experimental releases too?

https://nexus-roms.eu/ seems to be down. Going to be a sad end to S6 development if the team disbands and it's just UltraGamerHD. Then again a lot of work has been done to get what is probably going to be as close to complete AOSP rom for this device.
It's a 2-year-old phone and I doubt any more devs will show an interest now. A few months left on my contract and I'll be off.
