please help, I am new at this!

I have a bricked htc 10 evo. I can get into the bootloader, but it just turns off if I try to get into recovery. It is locked with s-on. I have the stock Rom in zip format, but can't find it in ruu. When I try to flash it with fastboot it says it can't because of s-on. Is there a solution to this problem? I posted on a couple other threads about this, but one of them isn't being maintained anymore. I have tried looking at youtube, but can't find this excat problem per say.

Does anyone have this ruu? I can only use the ruu file not zip.

@kentuckylovely: I could close this thread on your behalf, just use the "Report Post" button for such requests. However, I suggest to keep the thread open to probably support other users with a similiar issue.
But this would mean that you add the solution you've found to solve your issue. XDA is about sharing information.
