We're in the same boat dude... This is what I found:
The OEM unlock is checked in dev mode, and in recovery mode it says "phone locked" and "oem unlocked".
Note that the phone is not bought from a carrier and it is not supposed to be locked.
I cannot flash anything through fastboot. I am running stock 8.0 on WAS-LX1 with .383(C432).
I tried to contact Huawei because I found out that only they provide OEM unlock codes, but all they did in response to my e-mail was sending a dead link to where the option on the site was supposed to be, before they stopped providing that service. So, I have no success in unlocking in order to flash.
So, the question is: am I doing something wrong here, am I missing something or do I just have bad luck with the OEM?
Please, if you do know how to help me out, do provide links because of TMI these last 2 days I am kinda lost around what and where I found.

Only way to get bootloader code is to pay for it...
If you run EMUI 8.0.0 you can't unlock bootloader even if you pay for DC Unlocked, it's not supported.
You have to downgrade to EMUI 5 (Android 7) and then use DC Unlocker or HCU Client.
But after EMUI 8.0.0.388 (I'm not sure about the exact version) you CAN NOT downgrade to EMUI 5 because of security patches by Huawei. In this case you're stuck with EMUI 8 for life :)
If you like EMUI it's okay, if you don't just try to sell it.
P10 Lite is dead, no more new features and no EMUI 9, you can receive only some monthly security patches by Huawei.

Which version of EMUI 8.0.0 you have installed? DC Unlocker can't recognize the phones with B388 or B390 because of Huawei's security patches.
Even DC Unlocker says "If your phone runs Android 8 or later with latest security patch then this service won't work".
I've tested with B388 and B390 and DC Unlocker can't recognize my phone.

I managed to unlock mine and I was also running the stock 8.0 with all huwaei updates. I used HiSuite to revert back to EMUI 5.1 and then I used DC unlocker. I had to pay 4 euro, though.
