Try installing through qualcom flash tool Link
I had this issue once because of incomplete flashing and due to this my device was hard bricked. I then installed firmware and stock rom by this tool ig..

Can you explain what happened to your device? Also try flashing fastboot rom.
Not sure what happened. Phone suddenly shut down on its own. Tried to power on stuck at mi logo. Tried to go recovery (orangefox) it also stuck at splash screen. Tried flashing another recovery (twrp) via fastboot, it returned with FAILED (remote: 'Error flashing partition : Write Protected'). I get this error while flashing main partitions too (data/system/boot/recovery). Tried various versions of miflash, each one returned with errors. Tried on edl mode, still errors. Tried qfil flasher, errors again :( so i gave up. I guess this is a hardware problem, not software.

First things first: you never ever flash recovery! You boot into recovery and flash recovery through booted recovery. Try booting into recovery
Use:
fastboot boot xxx.img

actually firstly tried this. It finishes without errors, phone boots into recovery but again stuck at recovery logo(twrp/orangefox). tried official recovery, it boots without errors and can be used with only wipe data option. Tried it but stuck at %99.99

If you now can't flash through fastboot (doesn't?) then probably your OEM unlock toggle was disabled.

if i check "fastboot oem device-info" it says my phone is unlocked.
tried relocking bl via fastboot and unlocking via miunlocker still no luck :(
No luck in which part; re-locking it or re-unlocking it? Also you can flash something through fastboot or for example erase some partition? so probably flashing mdtp or persist partition could solve it.

This may sound stupid but try changing where your phone is connected i.e., if it is connected to usb3.0 port then change it to 2.0 and vice versa... I don't know how that works but for my phone that had worked!

Oops my bad, it should be fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. but this command returns with same error too. Error flashing partition:Write protected
The command should be fastboot boot XXXX.img
(here XXXX.img being the recovery image file)
Dont flash recoveries through fastboot, it fails. Boot recovery through fastboot and then flash through the recovery.

Yeah normally doing like this, but recovery stuck at splash logo when i boot to recovery via fastboot.
Also tried 3 pc(2 desktop 1intel 1amd, also 1 intel notebook) and 8-9 usb ports total (2.0/3.0) every time it fails. I'm almost sure that's an hardware issue
Tried edl mode, phone goes to edl mode but miflash and qfil give error when flashing. Miflash gives an error like "emmc skipstorageinit=0"
my phone is not 2 years old yet but obviously warranty is void so didn't send to service.Bought it for 1700 turkish liras (220$) on november 2018 and if the problem is related to motherboard it should cost like 1000-1500 liras. So i bought redmi note 9 pro for 3000liras and gave up on trying to revive rn5.

Did you try to flash mdtp.img?, also try with vbmeta.img using
Code:
fastboot --disable-verity flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
or simply
Code:
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
I never used, I read that a USB hub can work too.

Also try formatting first the partition that you want to flash, for example format the boot partition using
Code:
fastboot erase boot
then try flashing the boot partition but remember that it has to be concordant with the ROM that currently is flashed onto your device otherwise won't boot.

Help me too please!!

I have a Redmi Note5 Pro from Saturday while uploading instagram stories decided to crash and got reset stuck with Bootloop on MI.com logo. The device said it's unlocked.

I CANNOT go into recovery mode.

I have connected to device to my laptop (Windows 10) through fastboot try to flash any recovery: OrangeFox, TWRP, no success.

This is the error:
c:\adb fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Sending 'recovery' (31161 KB) OKAY [ 0.669s]
Writing 'recovery' FAILED (remote: 'Error flashing partition : Write Protected')
fastboot: error: Command failed

So I try this command: fastboot boot recovery.img

It loads the recovery either TWRP or OrangeFox but only the Logo nothing else.

So now I can use ADB commands.

I can do adb devices and it says it's in recovery mode

Then with ADB SHELL LS
I can see the folder tree

With Push and Pull I can copy folders but cannot access and copy the content of SDCARD and STORAGE.

I know those folders are protected even though my phone should be unlocked but apparently it is not then.

Via fastboot I have those details:

fastboot oem device-info

(bootloader) Verity mode: true
(bootloader) Device unlocked: true
(bootloader) Device critical unlocked: true
(bootloader) Charger screen enabled: false
OKAY [ 0.006s]
Finished. Total time: 0.006s

Is there a WAY with lower level commands or software to access to data write protected inside the phone memory?
Or the only solution is to give the Device to experts and do the CHIP Off recovery data?

Please Help!
If anyone can help to recover my data seriously I do I am happy to give a compensation with PayPal cause I would appreciated the effort and help!

Thanks in advance for anyone's willingness to help!
