please help with my mda compact II

hi i have a mda compact 2 that i need to do a full hardware reset as it is playing up like mad and now my friend thought it would be funny to set the security of the phone to on problem is i cant remeber what i set the password to as i use randem password

please any help would be nice just the hardware rest should do or i will have to do a brute force

please come on guy someone help me i have tried the hold reset button and power button that did not work tried holding the two bottom softkeys plus power on ect still no joy

MDA compact 2 password problem

Hiya mate,

I have a similar problems to yours in that i have forgotten my password for the MDA compact 2 phone. You say you have solved the problem.

Can you please help and say how you did it.

I would well appreciate any help.

hold down the two side buttons, camera and memo, then tap the reset button at the bottom with the stylus, keep holding the 2 buttons until display asks to push green to hard reset.

Please could you tell me exactely which 2 keys these are? I have found the reset but as soon as I push it my phone restarts.

it's really hard to guess which two they are, charmer has completely 3 side buttons, from which one is power )
