uhm, never used LGUP even if I have G2 and G Pad 7 (always used LG Flash Tool but it seems is for international version only), but anyway: guess you installed the right drivers and check if there are errors in Device manager (the exclamation mark in the driver icon)? Usually when LG devices are not recognized by the flashing tools the issue is with drivers, so trying on a different PC may help (you can't imagine how many times worked for my LGs!!).I have all day trying to solve this problem, I did an update for the Verizon application and now I am in the download mode, I want to recover it using LGUP but it says that the model is unknown, I used uppercut, installed the different .exe of the dll , and nothing.

Yes, I have the universal drivers, I have tried it on another computer, I will try lg pc suite to see, lg flash tool only works with a single KDZ but it does not install, if I try to put the latest version it says it is not compatible: S
there are different LG Flash Tool tools.. One is LG Flash Tool 2014, requires kdz; one is LG Flash Tool 2.xxx and it requires tot firmware files; and then there's the original LG Flash Tool (used by PC Suite too) and it's the only one that let you enter the IMEI and it dynamically download the original firmware from LG servers.. but this is for my LG devices, G2 and G Pad 7, don't know if they're all good for your VS500..

The page can not provide me with a KDZ file, I have the latest version of this phone (VS50020I and VS500PP8). I'm using LG Firmare to download. I am very frustrated, I am using Lg Flash 1.8.x I need the latest version of this program
