so if it freezes.. when im installing HSPL
i wont brick my phone?
do i like take out the battery of the phone when the computer freezes or what do i do? haha

You really are one for asking questions aren't ya!

Everything will be ok. If your pc freezes try not to worry.
Don't touch the battery of your phone. The whole process usually lasts a couple of mins so chances of pc freezing is minimal. Possibly close other programs on pc first.
If pc freezes and won't unfreeze you may need to restart pc. You will then need to restart process and get phone back into bootloader mode.

But don't worry, it'll be fine!!

im just scared to brick my phone..well i dont even have it yet
but im getting it sunday
and its 700 some USD so i dont wanna throw that money down the drain.

Understand completely, but the chances of bricking your phone or so miniscul and if you follow proper procedure you'll be fine.

.rar files are files which have been zipped up

You can extract them with software called winrar which you install on your pc

I've attached HDTweak for ya unzipped and .cab version

Just put this on your phone and click on it

the one you sent me is the on have already
it says .cab
but.. it is in a winrar archive?

is that okay?
because when i open it up
there are many files.

so all i have to do is
connect my phone to the computer
copy whatever app i have to the phone .. ( the .cab file which is in an winrar archive? )

When you open a .cab file on your pc you will be shown all the files inside it. When you double lick on the .cab file on your HD it will not open like on your pc, but will instead install the app.

Easiest way to explain this would be to think of an .cab on your HD the same as a .exe file on your pc

you can go to starts->settings->remove programs and then select the program u want to uninstall..

You'll need .net framework on your device. Just download the cab file and put it on your device via usb cable and double click on it

You don't need to unplug your device to install cab files.
