Yes the icons are more oval than circle, it's stretched by just by a lil bit. I tried all the different res settings same issue. Do you have a photo of yours?Even with the setting change on the phones end? Via android auto developer settings?

No the android auto window. I can take mine tomorrow when I drive. You can see clearly the icons are smooshed.

dear all,
i had brought this item https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003133318399.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.75414c4dKndpUI..however the left-hand side clock and the music player is annoying, is there any way to remove it and make the screen full?
I have this one to, didn't even want dash cam so using full screen makes android auto look awful.Yea I got the one running Linux too, way much better then how far I could have gotten the paid reloaded to work. I only have one issue with the android auto on the Linux version, the resolution is not right and stretched, aspect ratio is wrong. I am a designer so this kind of things kill me I can't unsee it. I have let the seller know and they said they will fix it.
Makes no difference on this model, I have a road top one where it changes with the developer settings, much better quality as well
How did you get this information, if you find anything we can do please post thanksWas browsing around some articles in Korean an managed to understand a little bit more about this device.
- The OS seems to be Linux running on a ARM chip –ran "binwalk"
- It seems it has been built using OpenWRT Software
- For whatever reason, Korean keep appearing (?)

I run a command called “binwalk” from Homebrew that helps you identify the model. Used a prior firmware to look it up. Also, a developer told me is Android, not OpenWRT. Quite confused and intrigued as well haha. How did you get this information, if you find anything we can do please post thanks
Ps is there any developer mode settings
O thanks how do you think it would be updated?I run a command called “binwalk” from Homebrew that helps you identify the model. Used a prior firmware to look it up. Also, a developer told me is Android, not OpenWRT. Quite confused and intrigued as well haha.
Would you be able to send me the img fileI have completed the update and it's now perfect phoenix 428 and tf card is all you need if you have same device I can send the img
So you have same as the above on this page, not a mirror just one that attached to dash board?
Let's try that again
Basically that's a nav bar and you want to hide it. There are two caveats to this, one is that you need download another nav bar app, I used swipe gestures. The second is that native apps like the back up camera will be cut off. I been trying to find a way to toggle between "full screen" and nav bar mode. The issue is the lack of access to permissions on this device. Anyways here is how I did it.Hi dude, how did you achieve it? Could you explain it please? Thank you!
