Is it normal that poco f1 has still no custom rom development?
I had lenovo z2 plus. I guess kind of similar case like poco, 800 series soc in 20000 inr but it has ton of development and still holds till date.
Is it me? Or no dev has much interest in f1?

No offense to Devs....

Just unlocked my pocoF1 in one go. Logged in with my 3.5 year old mi account and it went just fine...no waiting for 3 days or something.

Some questions...

Q1. For how many days your mi account was binded with poco f1 before you went to unlock? (For how many days was your account logged in to poco f1 before you attempted to unlock it?)

Q2. Which MiFlash version did you use?

Q3. Did it wipe data? If yes, please specify which data (app data, all user data including internal storage)

My mi account was bound to the phone for maybe 20-30 min.

I used the 2.2....something (see screenshot, first post).

I had no data on the phone to begin with, it was just completely new. Though it didn't reset the phone either.

So i used the version 3.3.827.31 of mi unlock withinhrs after initial setup, and got 72hrs of wait time. Someone said that v 2.2.406.5 instantly unlocks the bootloader, is it ok if i use the v2 now? Or should i wait?

It's strange, hmmm....
So unlocking didn't factory reset your phone
But everywhere else it did. They had to re-setup their devices as it was just unboxed.

When unlocking, did the miunlock tool give any warning that userdata wil be erased?

Before proceeding to unlock was there any lock screen security (password, pin, pattern)? Or you proceeded to unlock with no lock screen security?

I had no lock on the screen in the first place.
It just out of the box and I went on to unlock the bootloader.

Ok so after unboxing you set up the phone, added google and mi accounts and without setting a lock screen password you headed to unlock the bootloader, and since there was no screen lock, therefore the miunlock tool may have assumed that there was no sensitive data and hence it did not factory reset the device on unlocking.
And hence we found out a way to unlock the bootloader without suffering any data loss. Yay!

I am not sure if that is the case, certainly back all your stuff up before you do attempt an unlock.
If there is a log file in the unlock tool folder then I will check it this afternoon once I am at home, just to see what it says.

Strange hours counting when trying to unlock te Poco

I see you guys getting the Poco unlocked, it's not working for me

96 hours ago, i made an Mi account. I followed the intructions and waited for a bit more then 72 hours (76 to be exact) an tried to unlock the phone. It didn't work, the message was the same as what i saw 30 minutes ago, only today it says 2 hours (just like 6 hours ago) en yesterday the message was "After 20 hours of trying to unlock the device".
I am getting "slightly" irritated :(

I've read the instructions on http://en.miui.com/thread-246705-1-1.html, but this morning it was 2 hours and now (6 hours later) it's stil 2 hours.
