Poetic stand case peeling

I picked up this case ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Poetic-Stan...030&pid=100015&prg=1006&rk=1&sd=280737583400&) a few days ago to replace an ailing official case and have been pleased with the function compared to the custom fit folio, but far from pleased with the material quality. The thin layer of polyurethane on the clasp as well as the clips the hold the TP in is starting to nick and wear off, after only two days of use. I've contacted the manufactures see if there's anything they recommend, but I'd rather not return it if the same thing is going to happen to the new one. Do you guys know of anything I can apply to these affected parts that would be able to seal and protect them?

You should be aware that they don't 'make' the case, they buy them in bulk from Shenzen in China, it's a very common case for a number of different devices. My guess is they'll just send you another one but don't expect it to be any better.

Thanks for the heads up. I wound up using some sealant on it and while it doesn't look that great, it shouldn't degrade any further.

i have the same case under a different name. mine has held up over a year. they must have changed something for the worse in how they are made.
