Hello folks,
.
I'd like to purchase a Sony z4 tablet for use as a car gps (among other things).
.
I owned a z3 Sony tablet for a while, it was a very good product except I could not use it with my *polarized* sunglasses in landscape mode, screen became invisible.

So I now have a galaxy tab s2 9.7, the super amoled screen is visible in both landscape and portrait modes with polarized sunglasses. :cool:
.
I'm considering the z4 tablet due to its 16/9 form factor, as opposed to 4/3 in use by Samsung on their tablets. However it's not available in stores where I live, can only order online from overseas, and there is no way I can try it first.
.

I'd be grateful if some of the current users of the z4 could try polarized sunglasses to see if it can be used normally in landscape mode.
.
.
Thanks in advance for your kind advice.
:cool::cool::cool::cool:

Hi aljazzair,

I can confirm that with the xperia Z4 tablet the screen is well displayed with polarized sunglasses (oakley flak 2.0) in landscape mode, and totaly black on portrait.
This is completly different with my xperia z3 phone :) (black in landscape and bright in portrait) which is not very useful when you activate the gps.
