Did the latest update not fix your touch issue? I haven't upgraded yet in hopes that our bootloader will be unlocked.
My issue stopped while I was using my second phone. It must have been one of the updates I received in the last couple months. I had to reset every couple weeks then it would come back. The last time it just didn't come back. I'm on AT&T by the way.

i think its when the phone is idle with screen off, it sometimes misses touches.

nothing to dramatic here...
probably will be different with android 6
hello, that's exactly what I have : after some (long) sleep, phone will hardly wake with touch.
NOTA : phone will not wake with volume down photo shortcut either, so it's not touch related but most probably the sensors (physical or locical) are "too asleep to register their use"

h815 eur with latest update (build LMY47D / software V10e-EUR-XX / kernel 3.10.49)

You can unlock your bootloader from lg website. I didn't unlock mine (h811). I just flashed a rooted stock image then flashed twrp. Now running blisspop.

Could someone tell me if these touchscreen isues include phantom touches? My last phone had phantom touches and it seems it was because of my hands.

Not sure have anyone mentioned this before, I do not have any problem with my knock on when I first purchased my LG G4. I found out that my screen does not really respond to my knock on after I installed tempered glass screen protector. I solved my issue my updating the proximity sensor (Boot into MiniOS). Apparently, the tempered glass that I have covers the sensor and causing all sort of issues. If you have tempered glass / plastic protector, check whether your material covers the sensors (on the right next to the camera)

Removing the glass screen protector on my G4 solved the touchscreen issues I was having. It did have to proximity sensor cutout. I'm on at&t 81010o firmware and debloated if that makes any difference.

The G4s had something going on at first. The later updates include fixes. I dont think it is a touchscreen problem as a background service hogging resources. If you enable touches in developer options, the screen was constantly making contact even though the phone wasn't getting it. Verizon got 13A with the fix and its night and day.

For anyone having touchscreen issues, there is a simple fix:

system settings > accessibility > motor & cognition > touch feedback time > set it to medium or long

(note: this is for H815 international model as well as most others,
but some models will have "dexterity" instead of "motor & cognition")

I don't garantee this will help with all your touch screen problems,
but many people reported a lot less issues after tuning this option...
FYI, i have a Nillkin tempered glass (0.3mm) on top of my screen and
don't experience any issues whatsoever...
Wow! Seemed to have helped! At least so far

Cheers!

I noticed my screen are weirdo at the left side of the screen, especially when I scrolling or moving an app, it trembles a lot, on the right side nothing.

Do you mean that we can still install twrp and flash a custom rom even with a locked bootloader? What is the version of your g4?

Uh yea a lil clarification on this please lol I thought someone bad to bump a twrp img. to trick the LG bootloader into thinking its an official lg recovery with a locked boot loader.. Is it an official twrp? And I bet somehow it still won't work on a Verizon model I'm not that lucky
