Thanks for the input. I tried again last night and it did the same thing. I'm stock rooted. Only difference I can think of is the Oculus stuff for gear vr

Working great. Only one issue so far. Wifi calling sounds scratchy... i hear random popping when on calls (audio stream breaks up). Any idea what line i can change to fix this? Verified by going back to original file and rebooting then issue goes away.

How are you guys getting the new file into system/etc? Since updating to lollipop I can't get es file explorer to write or copy to the system.
I may have to make a flashable zip

EDIT:
Ok, here are two flashable zips . One with Pongoface's Moded file and one to return to stock.
Tested on my GN4 N910P and they work perfectly...
Big thanks Pongoface!

In case anyone is interested. I tweaked pongo's mod to lower the volumes a tad since my speakers couldn't handle it. I was getting pretty bad crackling from both speakers on high volume. It looks like the original mixer_paths file had the volumes set at 84 and pongo's at 90 and 91 in some cases. I lowered them all to 87 as a compromise and everything sounds great. No more crackling. I also found a line that changed from "<ctl name="RX1 Digital Volume" value="84" />" to "<ctl name="RX1 Digital Volume" value="9" />" although the rest of the values were raised to "90". I just assumed that was a typo and corrected it to match the new value of 87 and everything seems to be working as it should.
