My wife got herself a 32GB T-Mobile Galaxy S7 last November, and she's noticed that she gets horrible for 4G reception compared to other, crappier phones in the household, even though we're all on the same carrier.
She's asked me to try to find any way of improving the number of bars she gets, everything from settings tweaks to flashing firmware, up to and including solutions that would require rooting. (Which is big for her, because she's normally opposed to rooting because she thinks it just invites stability problems and crashing.)
