Boostedassv2 doesn't work? I like the rim and its pretty fast .. but overclocking from bootmenu doesn't works and I've flashed the zip containing smartassv2 and boostedassv2 which worked flawlessly on cm based roms .. any help?

the over clock works... go to boot loader.... system.... cpu settings... enable overclock and select your settings.... dont forget to save settings

Thanks, you have made wonderful roms here, with the latest changelog i think you have reached the limit of what this froyo build are capable at. Definitely no rom with better battery, and of the Android devices Ive owned Motorola delivers the best rom.

Say you wanna unroot and remove cmw and device oc to 1ghz. Will that setting stay then or revert?

as soon as you uninstall cwm... the over clock settings are removed automatically.

I've updated 2nd Init with the download you linked to, but then I noticed that my default boot was set to 'normal' instead of 2nd Init.

However, regardless of whether I boot normal or with 2nd Init, the CPU menu does not seem to have any effect, as CPUSpy still shows 800/600/300MHz, instead of my custom clockspeeds (900/600/300).

ok...got the over clock bug... its in 2ndinit 2.3 version... just install 2nd init version 2.0... I tried and its now overclocking...
I will update once you guys confirm...also will add the mcc sd card class 10/6 fix in hopefully last version...

I can confirm that 2nd Init 2.0 works. The newer schedulers/governors (BoostedAss + Smartassv2) do not work, but that's a minor issue for me.

Yes, I thought and feared it. Then i prefer to keep oc to 1 GHz to get it slightly more up to date

All those who cannot overclock.... please uninstall the bootloader and install 2ndinit version 2.0 from here

1)have you included the 840x480 full screen video recording functionality...its very essential as green lens user i cannot access 720p recording so at least i can be happy with the full screen recording
2)power widget toggles in the pull down info bar...that would be awesome...possible?!!

I have not had any reboots, and I myself would prefer not to have too many features added to this otherwise clean ROM, I like it close to stock. Arabis - you might want to check out MS2Ginger?

Stock or no stock...good features can be included in all accounts...else anybody can flash a stock if they so wish to be crippled for choices...dont take it otherwise naenee...my proposal is only to add two things that would make a better stock ROM...i have tried MS2Ginger...GGL ROM...CM7...but those are GB not Froyo!
If there were simple zip available for those tweaks we would have loved to leave the stock as stock! I believe even Moto would want to get then included if they were to release Froyo builds now!
Oh and 720p playback too...we want it all in Froyo...savy!!

Dowloading prblem from the Ge.tt site...
when i get disconnected it asks for username and psswd on resume even though it says resume supported...i was able to download the first version but am falling to do so this time...can you please upload the file to a different site where the resume suport do not ask for psswds.

for full screen recording ... I have integrated in my next version, but there is one issue of cam video with lights ON does not work.... working on that issue.

Next version will have 1% battery with custom theme and changed font.
