Thanks guys....
I am attaching as below:
Battery step (also available in this forum),
UOT Kitchen file for theming the battery, font & animations. The attached UOT Theme has Vertical battery with Ubuntu Fonts & Fold window animations.
Let me know if you guys like it.

You can also make your theme for battery.
If you guys want to make your own theme, attached is the framework-res.apk file you need to upload at UOT Kitchen.

You guys also upload UOT files.
Once you guys confirm which kitchen file is best, I will integrate it in my next version.

Install via recovery, first battery step, then UOT Kitchen theme file.

720p playback works.... just install MX Player ...
I have integrated in my next version for 720p playback on stock player.

for full screen recording ... I have integrated in my next version, but there is one issue of cam video with lights ON does not work.... working on that issue.

Next version will have 1% battery with custom theme and changed font.
thanks buddy...i am eager to continue with this...but as i pointed before...why dont you upload this to mediafire or elsewhere...its a pain to download from the site you are uploading to...thanks again for all your work!

Can anyone, who has applied the themed parts, provide a screenshot?

^anyone?

Also, what has changed in version 2.3?

Hm. okay, I am trying 2.3, I do not like the low contrast between the battery-status font and the image itself - with a near-full battery/percentage in high 90's, it's barely readable because the background is very dark green.

There seems to be a bug where the notification icon for the battery becomes completely invisible for me, when the phone is fully charged. Does anyone else have this issue?

If you do only uot kitchen then you end up with default top bar after a call. Framework-res And SystemUI must be edited as well to make a theme "complete". All stretchable icons(those with "9.png" in filename) needs de-recompiling to show properly ;)

Can you make a good theme for us. I am very bad in designing and color combinations :)

Thank you kindly :)

Hm. The zip did not fix the problem where the battery status icon does not show when charged fully.

I've restored an older framework-res.apk from a backup, hopefully that will have done the trick :)

Then it will loose much of the theme, I'd rather extract the framework to pc with 7zip(the "new"), then open the themed framework in 7zip and drag battery icons into the right folder in 7zip, do the same in SystemUI.apk(located in system/app). Before closing 7zip remember to go up/back till you get to the apk file it self. If asked to update say yes. After simply open rom with 7zip and replace the apks with the modified ones, here you will be asked when hitting back/up ;)

I went back to an older version of Popcorn, I think 2.2, without the theme - it worked without problems ;)
I've been running msginger4 lately, I am ready for Popcorn again after work, I will make a "back to stock" theme so if some want to go back from theming, simply flash that "theme" I make then, later on ill make one of my themes for this rom.

Froyo does all nessesary stuff like gingerbread so I don't see the reason for gb. Better old school for this old man :D

Sounds like an interesting plan ;)

As for Froyo - I agree, there is nothing I have really missed yet, running it.
