This is the same link as in the first post and there does not seem to be a separate link there to a theme zip.

Did you mean to say that you have reverted the theme to stock and updated the link?

Been running 2.4 a while now, good rom, a couple of details which might be due to me running nordic froyo instead of recommended sbf. Sometimes writing sms phone starts acting on it's own coverting to mms and keyboard won't react to wipe letters. It might be swiftkey but shouldn't, sometimes screen goes off constantly too even with pocket recognition set off. I know you're done with this rom but still wanted to report. Still I love this rom with great battery life and all over stability

I'll try to flash on my Defy mb525 with bayer lens but the files in the folder Popcorn V2.4 are different to files in the folder of my backup, i use the 2dinit recovery, perhaps is this the problem? What kind of recovery you use for this nandroiid backup? Can you help me?

When I installed it I first used rsd lite to flash nordic froyo sbf. Then reroot, installed 2nd init 1.42,cwm, unzip and move the nandroid to the "cwm backup folder" then restore nandroid, wipe cache and dalvik cache, reboot...

There we go popcorn, you must continue this, it's the only froyo, I'm on holiday so excuse me here, but any chance for 720p recording in froyo? The only function I miss in froyo if this gets functional no need for gb+higher as stability in this rom are the very best, thanks bud

Will be able to Call Record (both way) with Total Recall without usual (for stock ROM) BEEPs every 10 sec BUT as it is in MS2G 4.0 (no beeps at all)???

I like the stock 2.2.2 FROYO but Call Recording is essential for me.
Lack of Call Record holding me back from upgrading to CM10.

Try to use 7zip to open rom, navigate to /system app or data/app, find the .apk, then open the call record (don't know it's name) .apk file for call record. Try to delete the file and go up/back till the start point. If prompt to update say yes. Set permission to 755 and install rom. Easier will be to do the same from phone using root explorer(es file explorer/root explorer). If it crashes, modify the sound file in a music software to clean it to empty file. Another way could be to locate apk file in ms2ginger using 7zip and drag it to the same folder in popcorn 2.5 rom. Say Yes to update if asked when moving back/up in folders till start point(the zip file). Please report back if it works

It sounds to complicated to do it for something I got out of the box with MS2G 4.0 and TotalRecall app from the market.

I`d prefer FROYO experience than GB but really do not want (not that I can not) to experiment with it.
I just wanted to know if a Call Recording (without every 10 sec beeps) is available by default straight out of the box (as it is in MS2G Roms) with v2.5 of this ROM so I might give it a spin.

Supercharged v6 script,
Kickass kernel
Beats audio
Bravia engine

And other mods to make the UI smoother and snappier..

Just put in everything thats available

You could just intall the Supercharger / Kernel tweaks yourself, but I found no need for either (on any ROM really), as I found that any gain is negligible.

The bravia engine does nothing on the Defy.

Does Beats Audio do anything? Or is it a placebo effect?

I'd rather just keep this release simple and functional myself, instead of adding un-needed features.

Well, you could do it and upload an update zip. Popcorn wanted this as true stock minus bloatware. But, I agree bud I'm busy, but pm me the files and I will try to make an update zip
