QuickPic able to saw those pictures. But why the pic resolution only have 13M and 10M only?

Runs, videos work, and camera seems to focus and clicks when taking a picture but a pic is never saved. Running CM12 latest nightly w/ franco r38 w/ v4a and modded cameranext flashed. Also can't open up gallery w/ it and I have quickpic installed.

For those of you who wants to view the pictures in the stock gallery, I'm using this app to rescan media, it works for me:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.jerickson314.sdscanner

Have to rescan each time after you take a picture, though.. At least you don't need to restart your device to view them.. If you don't want to do it, Quickpic will do..

Pics show up on quickpic fine. And also it's a good gallery with less than a MB size.

I have founded a way to show it on cm gallery

When you are shooting video you have the ability to take snaps within it so it works like a charm.Thanks for such a great work.Now one can recognize the true potential of OPO Camera.

No 50MP superzoom option for now. (Actually i don't know about it because i haven't tried Color OS yet (and no plans for now) is this feature present on Stock ColorOS ROM? Which version? because i didn't see code in app yet.)

wow thanks a lot i waiting a long time for this port, when it will become possible to access any gallery from the camera it will become my primary camera app for sure .

I don't have any plans for porting Gallery for now. Once i'll done up with Camera then only i'll think about it.

Those are downloaded from somewhere (may be oppo's servers??) I don't exactly know how it works. It'll take sometime to figure it out. Till then no plug ins

This is so great, I'm on cm12 latest nightly and have a find7 x9076 qhd and this baby is WORKING, excellent picture quality , and no 4k video but 1080p works great and is very crisp! I love it, first maxaudio port for cm12 then you porting this must have camera

Quickpick shows photos fine and hd player from play plays the video great!

Plz plz continue this outstanding porting, its almost there, already my favorite on cm12!
Just need a couple on the most used plug ins too and working 4k then, there's no need for coloros anymore!

So you're using it on find7. To enable 4k recording, you need to add/modify camera configuration. See res/xml/project_camera_config.xml. This file maps various profiles to ro.product.device property for ex see how i did for 1+1

I don't see this app provides more resolutions or may be i can add them later.

Yep its only app. You don't need any framework,root etc.


Let me clear one thing: Images are not showed in gallery due to infamous kitkat sdcard accessibility bug.I'll fix it in next release.
One more thing why some effects/options are missing? Because some code is obfuscated in the app. So it is hard to understand it. And as i told before i dont have much free time now a days, it'll have least priority

for 50mp pictures you need to do changes in the HAL it is not an app based feature.

People who are seeing the difference can you please post shots with and without this camera for comparison. I personally did not find any difference between this and the stock camera under low light.

Me neither.
I made same photo several times with this camera and stock camera.
The only good thing I found is that Color Os camera does not increase Iso so much as the Stock Cm11s camera (800 vs 1200)
But there was same noise with both photos and the Photo from Cm11s is clearer because of the Iso increase.
I'm gonna Make some tests more but so far, nothing promising

funny thing, when wearing glasses and there are stains. Thats what the cm looks like, blurry in comparison to the opo one. Thats way less noise.

I can't see much difference between both camera's picture quality. The only thing I've appreciated is the file size, being Color Os camera's photo size double.
