Hi Ghostrida-
I tried the method here and it didn't seem to do anything. I'm running my own "desensitized" version of stock 2.2, in which I've renamed a lot of junk to .bak but is otherwise stock rooted. Any ideas? Is it really worth it to go to virtuous 2.4?

If you're going to be themeing you are going to want to get a deodexed Rom. It can still be stock. In fact I am running stock not Virtuous even though my signature says otherwise.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll probably stick with mine then. However, that means we are both on (basically) stock, but when I flashed the update from my sdcard in clockwork, nothing happened. What stupid thing did I do wrong?

just to make it easy load the theme with rom manager. This will not work for vanilla.

Changing only a few things...

Hi all-
I'm new to theming. I do quite enjoy this theme, but it is a bit "much" for me. I would, however, love to change just the status bar, status bar icons, and just the background/"INC NOTIFICATIONS" part of the notification dropdown.

I'm (going to be) running a deodexed rom (Virtuous 2.4 seems like a good choice) and running with LauncherPro Plus (with all htc widgets/rosie/etc moved/removed).

It is my understanding that on a deodexed rom, I can extract files from the framework-res.apk, swap or edit them (as long as the file names and png sizes are the same), then recompress framework-res.apk.

Will this work? Is it necessary to resign framework-res.apk?

Just flashed 1.2r1 on deodexed stock 2.2. Most things are fine. Having problem with Gmail app hanging when I try to download attachments (simple jpg file)

In widgets under settings, the airplane icon is showing for 3g hot spots and there is a blank icon for the airplane mode.

Yup. I do advanced system.img restore.

on skyraider 3.0 sense everything works except the lock screen, any ideas on how to get it working?

Edit: if the screen is off and i get a call the manup456 lock screen shows, but if i just hit the power button to turn on the screen its a vanilla looking one so i have no clue what i should do to fix it

do a search for HtcLockscreen.apk and reinstall it. It is what the theme's lockscreen is based on

Anyone having a problem turning off vibrate while typing with the keyboard mod? I have the button unchecked(or checked, whichever it is lol) but it's not stopping it.

The new 2.1 still has the EVO settings screens... I will go back to the previous version till it is fixed under network settings it has 4g and Sprint hotspot also in in about phone I cannot check my signal strength anymore and the legal info is all Sprint info, not Verizon... let me know if this is fixable.
