Thanks for your effort. The mod is great except for the video. It freezes and crashes the phone.
Hope you can fix the issue soon. Also, the app icon, I wish you use the classic Gcam icon. well, it is just my opinion:eek:

You need to make a file named Gcam in the internal storage
then inside that you make another file named Configs7
In that you just paste the xml file which is privided
(the files need to be named exactly as i typed them btw)
then you just double tap at the gcam app in the black part between the picture taking button and the gallery
It should show you a white rectangular shape and you press update
then you get access to ultrawide and macro

Thanks a lot for this one, it's really good! It has been able to catch the most light of all the versions I have tried so far.
Are any improved versions of the config file coming?

I've had my Mi Note 10 Lite for a few days now and I've played around with a few GCam versions with different xml config files. My greatest interest goes towards indoor / low light / night shots, as the stock camera does a really bad job at those despite the practical relevance.
Before trying this PixelCam Plus one, Urnyx was my favorite. Now I'm not sure which one to pick, as sometimes one is better than the other.

I have taken a few test shots using the stock app, Urnyx' version and this PixelCam Plus, here are my results:

This first set of photos has been taken indoors with very low light (a single Philips hue bulb set at 20%). For reference always look at "stock normal" on the top left corner:

    VPNgX6N.jpg

In this first comparison Urnyx clearly wins as the image has the most details and doesn't have a yellow cast.

The second set of photos has been taken with the lights out. The only source of light were street lights weakly shining through a window. As you can see on the top left corner, the objects on the desk were barely visible:

In this second comparison PixelCam Plus wins despite the red color cast, as it was able to catch a lot of details despite the extremely bad lighting.

The stock camera nightmode on the other hand is laughable. It's a shame that Xiaomi didn't put more effort into it, as the hardware is clearly capable of so much more.

@Ijaz Farooq Thanks again for this version. Given the above results, are you planning to release an even better one? Or do you have any suggestion on where to start to achieve even better results?

Where do I have to put the config file? It says no file if I foubleclick

    hi,
you create a GCam folder at the root of the internal memory (internal shared storage space), in this GCam folder you create a Configs7 folder and in this Configs7 folder you put the XML file.

    sorry for my bad english.

    Please...
normal - good quality and processing.
Medium - best quality, longer processing.
    Portrait - you know.
Speed - a bit worse quality but fast processing.
    Astro - you know.

U can find the config for our phone on the same page
Thank you, I'm blind. I tried the configs7 file. Unfortunately, the wide-angle lens does not work. Otherwise, everything works.
