Install PowerAmpHello, i have a OnePlus 5t on the currwnt stock rom, rooted with magisk and newest TWRP recovery.
I installed the MOD via TWRP but I cant see any App in the Appdrawer, but the Magisk Module is 'activated' (it says so in the Magisk app) btw yes I have cleared cache and dalvik.
What should I do now? ??
1/ Magisk Edition is not supposed to be used for Sony Stock ROMsI agree that the title of this thread is not justified.
Claiming it works for ALL devices and ROMS is pretty brave since there are so damn many lol.
So many negative reports sadly aswell...
I tested myself on my Xperia XZ F8331 with Magisk edition and Sony Edition.
Magisk edition: made my Sony music app run wild and made playing music impossible.
Sony Edition: Sorry to say but I just don't hear any difference.

I am afraid that atm, some OREO devices with integrated Music FX could encounter these problems. As soon as I'm free from busy work recently, a solution should be worked on.As @LilBlinx say, on Oreo (I'm on RR Official 22 Jun build). Equalizer etc not working.
I've tried a lot of Sony Music Port and deleted vendor/etc/audio_effects.xml. But still no effect.
Just this ones: https://xdaforums.com/android/software/soundmod-sonymusicwithsseviperaudio-t3536196 by @repey6 work perfectly on Oreo (include Oreo Treble) but, no DSEE-HX.
I hope @sirdoha can solve this problem with Oreo device ASAP.
P.S
My device: Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon (mido)
Thanks for helping me explaining. Many guys just can't spend some seconds to glance at the FAQ before asking (don't mean to offend though)Please read the FAQ's 1st Question from Third Post or from here(both are same), and you will get your answer why the option is off whenever you come back to the Audio Settings.
When I first installed this mod, it was working fine. Using a Xiaomi Mi Max 2
No problem, and it would be really nice if everyone would just spend a few minutes reading FAQs and latest posts. Thanks for helping me explaining. Many guys just can't spend some seconds to glance at the FAQ before asking (don't mean to offend though)

I installed the same version, using the Universal Magisk 1.4. Im not sure why it isnt working right now. What is the VERSION and EDITION that you installed at first, the one that 'works' for you?
Couldn't u implement that in the next update of ur mod, please?10. Why the audio effect only apply to Sony Apps?
-> This is due to Sony restriction. You, however, can use this awesome guide from my mate @PDesire to remove this restriction: Link to the thread
That isn't a Sony app... Does it work on Poweramp, if yes, why?11. I have FC issue with the WalkMan App?
-> Please try PowerAmp app instead.

I expect that is the issue on your side. You may have made some changes (ex install new soundmod) that conflict with my sound system.I installed the same version, using the Universal Magisk 1.4. Im not sure why it isnt working right now.
Don't forget "all android version" but on my 4.4.4 this zip simply kill my phone... This phone has no recovery, impossible to put one due to lack of source code and I can't even flash this without some sort of special apps/manual copyI agree that the title of this thread is not justified.

I have got zip installation error in twrp.Flash it through recovery. Reboot. Check modules in magisk. If it is still not in the modules, try again..
