My experience with this mod so far. I'm on https://forum.xda-developers.com/on.../unofficial-sultan-ized-resurrection-t3626418, which I *think* contains OOS Firmware (2-point-something). Wasn't sure if the firmware included blobs, though... Backed-up in TWRP before I flashed anything, tho...

Camera installed fine, first run-through. No Pro Mode that I could see. It did do something interesting, that I discovered in my Google Photos backup -it has a Burst Mode, activated by holding down the shutter button. At some point, I must have tested it, and fired off 15 shots right in a row. No pro mode, tho, so...

Installed OOS Blobs from the thread mentioned in the first post without installing kernel, and rebooted. Camera wouldn't launch. Someone else had this same problem, and installed ab kernel. I did that. Phone booted just fine. Still no-go with the camera. Or any of my other four cameras - "Could Not Connect."

This will never do.

Restored back-up, everything back to normal.

Flashing camera and kernel as we speak, no blobs. Still booting after wiping dalvik/cache.

I'll post with my results.
All right, no love there. Tried to flash kernel only (no blobs) with camera, wouldn't get past oneplus logo on boot. Flashed blobs, booted up after a while, but same probs as before. I did like what I saw the first go-round, though, so i'll probably just flash the camera update, and let it be -no pro mode for me.

If you have open the camera before you flash the kernel and blobs you need to clear the camera apps data first before launching again...i'm using RR final too and flash kernel & blobs, everything seems to work fine including pro mode...the only difference is i didn't use this camera flashable zip instead i use OP5 camera module from magisk and official RR rom instead of unofficial but both are pretty much the same and both should work just fine...

I did this. In fact, I cleared data and cache from every camera app after flashing kernel and blobs. No go. :( None of the cameras on board would start after the flash.

The one thing I haven't tried that I saw in (maybe?) the ab kernel thread was setting SELinux to permissive. I might try that.

Thank you, though...

Selinux is already set to permissive if you flash ab kernel but i'm not sure ab kernel works on CAF build rom....

Went ahead and re-flashed official RR, camera, blobs, and kernel. Everything is fine now, Pro Mode available. Thanks for all your help, you guys!
(Now I gotta reset up Android Pay and Android Wear... ugh)

Can someone help me ? I installed this on LineAgeOS15 but nothing new appears to be installed on my OPO when I reboot it...
There should be a second "Camera", like so:

The red one is the default 'org.cyanogenmod.snap', the one with the black lens and G/R/Y colors on top is the new 'com.oneplus.camera'. Not seeing it?

Sizzled with Bacon ?
