I can't seem to get it work on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 pro.

I run MIUI 12 / Android 10. Tried installing the APK and then copying the obb file in the correct folder (had to make it myself). And viva versa: copy first, install later.

Both with MIUI optimization on and off. I can see the examples, I can scan the object, but during processing I get the message:

Download failed because you may not have purchased this app.

Any suggestions?

Crashes the moment i hit a button in top of the app...

If i then try the 3D button way it complains that "download failed because i may not have purchased"

Well, got it past the first bump a few days ago, hadn't had the time to post. So no more popups about the license.

But, I still can't get it to work completely. It is possible to scan in different ways. But when the orb is formed and I start sculpting, it stops at about 60%, the scan screen disappears and I return to the home screen of the app. So that's quite the disappointment. Could it be a miui setting? Does the app has to be a system app? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have this problem with different versions. So I'm kind of out of ideas right now.

Tried lucky patcher and a few other things (APK editor) to make it work. Still doesn't.

Sometimes it renders to the moment I can sculpt, other times it doesn't even get that far. Can someone tell me if it is possible, and if yes: how can I make a good log of what's happening? Might help me - and if not me, them maybe someone here who is willing to help - solve the problem.

My phone is using TWRP, and rooted with Magisk. For the rest I'm running miui 12.0.5 global / eea rom. Any more info that could come in hand?

I included a logcat. Can you work with that? Seems like it is missing some files, but I don't know how to correct it. Does it has to be a system app?

Hi, thank you for the time giving into moding this app.
Although I am facing similar issue as Doev, I can go through the first step of taking photos but then it stops at around 40-60 % when creating first rough mesh and goes back to app main screen and I get notification that I didn't purchase the app or that I am missing resources (when not online). Obb file is placed and named correctly - when missing it acts differently. Tried both versions and same problem. Any ideas?
I have Redmi note 9 (MTK G85) with stock MIUI 12, all permissions allowed.

Also not working for me I am on a Pixel 3. app behave strangely trying to load a model or example crashes it trying to scan crashes it or returns to the scan select screen. I get a notification that says 3D creator download failed because you may not have purchased this app. both versions have the same problem it is able to see the ob file as far as I can tell as without it it does not load any of the images in the app but with it it does.

Samsung Galaxy s20 Android 11- almost works.. Starts up, can do scan and generate point cloud and then crashes back out to main screen before model can be created.. App has permissions to read and write files.. Previous version also used to get to this point but it would crash out to the launcher vs app main screen..

Doesn't work for me - Xiaomi Mi Max3. Miui12, Android10. Both versions I can install but when try to scan there is drop to maim sreen. After restart from the beginning complains for not paying. A pity, because app is very handy...

Doesn't work for me. I've installed the latest APK and the OBB file following the instructions and the app will open and when I click the bottom right 3d button to start a scan, I click one of the options like "face" for example and click scan, it just tries to start the camera then closes and takes me back to the home page of the app. I'm using Pixel 5 on latest Android 11 update. Stock device.
