I try it, but i take:

Boot image patcher

- Finding boot image
--- Boot image: /dev/block/sda5
- Extracting ramdisk
- Decompressing ramdisk
--- Failure, aborting

Are you using AOSP rom? It is already root-enabled. And if you have it, surely have a custom recovey to flash stuff either...

Yes but I am not suceeding in fixing bugs

how can i get root?

Is your boot loader unlocked? You need to request for it to be unlocked.
Do you have adb?
There are tutorials online you can find to help you out

I all ready try with several supersu versions getting the same result even infinite boot animation hope someone find any solution :good:

i struggle installing play store. tried different versions of the g-installer but couldnt get play store to work. g-p-services and g-framework keep popping up stating "Unfortunately Google Play Services / - Framework has stopped" (both of them keep crashing as the alert says)
Cleared cache and app data, tried to sign in with my google account under setting but still the alert keeps popping like crazy.
Any suggestions?

I may go back to working in this ROM because it is the most stable so far and I would like to get a fully stable ROM. However do not expect much [emoji14]

I wish I had the time to learn to port . Some changes by now?

I've seen some stable AOSP ROMs for redmi note 4 mtk. Maybe that could help you fix bugs

Great job, dev. I really hope you have some time working for this ROM.
-Love this ROM.
- Selfie camera ( I always confuse Front and Back ) is better than stock.
-Speaker during phone calls doesn't work. (Already described)
-Build in browser downloading crashes every time.
-Can't get root access. I use TWRP 3.1.1 and flash Super Su V2.82)

hope you will finish it and make it full stable! anyway there is a chance to make a kernel for current MIUI about a better config at interactive for improve the battery? (unlock things etc also if possible)

I came from China. I used this ROM. He worked very well on my device. I had a magisk to get root. I can only get the V14 version. The latest version will lead to an unlimited reboot. He also has some small problems.

You can't use a hands-free call when you call

The speaker has a sound when the headset is inserted
